Frustrating
Nothing seems to work after moving to the new app. Videos won’t load, I’m constantly being kicked out saying session expired. Trying to get help is exhausting and frustrating.
Frustrating User Interface
App has potential but is not easy to use as currently set up. Has trouble connecting to camera and camera cannot be accessed by two phones at once (always gives a No Permission error). Many of the features that make the app worthwhile are also paywalled.
Used To Be Good
I’ve had this bird feeder for three years now. It does a really good job of recording visitors. It will also take a 10 second video of the visitors. Unfortunately, their latest version requires you to subscribe to their service now in order to see your videos! I’ll be ditching this bird feeder and buying a new one.

App Sucks for Birdfeeder
The app sucks. Notifications do not appear on phone. Does not recognize birds. Firmware updates always fail and say to 'try again'. We've tried on multiple devices and nothing works. Don't buy birdfeeder for this app just because it's 'cheaper on Amazon', this idea is so simple and Vico Nature fails pretty badly at delivering.

Updated app
Before I updated this app, it identified my birds most of the time. Now, it says unknown about 90%+ of the time even when it is clear what type of bird it is. What can I do? I am going to have to get another type feeder that uses a different app if this can’t be fixed. I’m paying to get nothing

Worse than vico home
Doesn’t have the connectivity issues that vico home did. But vico home captured so many birds all the time. Vico nature can go days and catch nothing. Garbage.
Not a fan
I prefer the simplicity of the older app. This new version does not have a history for the day, right up front. You have to search for it. I’m keeping my original app.
Picture not clear
I am having trouble with a clear picture due to image being pixilated. Anyone know how to fix?
App has issues
Camera image is fine, but the app can be grief, it won’t let me sign in and keeps giving me the “retry” message. Very frustrating. Also misidentifies some birds.
HORRIBLE
Ever since they switched the Vico Nature cameras, we’ve been experiencing constant issues with all of them, not just the nature ones, but also our security cameras. To make matters worse, these cameras no longer provide us with notifications. When we reach out for help, they send us a lengthy list of tasks that we need to complete, which takes several hours when we have eight cameras. We need to reset, uninstall, reinstall, and install all the apps they provide. Even after we complete these tasks, they send us a generic apology message saying they’re here to help, but then they stop responding and nothing was fixed.

Poorer than vico home
This app is way worse than vico home. I got longer videos with vico home and better pictures and motion detections . The night motion detection on this is virtually useless. Do not switch from vico home if you do not have too. This app is just designed to give you less.
Expensive
Only works for one month then you HAVE to buy a subscription, if you don’t want to pay for subscription, just take the picture, put it in AI it’ll tell you what what species it is
Horrible replacement
Earlier app was so much better. Takes more than 10 seconds to show the live feed, no smart home integration, poor photo display, etc.
Cannot open app
I am so frustrated that ever since they changed apps I have not been able to see my birds. It’s been various issues. First the app wouldn’t connect to my feeder. Now after several other issues, the app now will not let me log in. I get a message that my session expired and to log in again - but I’ve not been able to log in just repeats the same message. I have written several times to customer support, deleted and reinstalled, turned off and on my phone among other attempts to solve the issues. Nothing works and support just keeps saying uninstall and reinstall. How many times do I have to say I’ve already since this too many times and it still isn’t working. This is an expensive item that I couldn’t wait to have for a very long time before finally making the purchase and while everything was great before they changed apps, it is now a great frustration. I do NOT recommend this at this time.

Session Expired
I can’t log in anymore. Keeps saying session expired and can’t go any further than this. Please fix!
Frustrating app
It was a very frustrating experience with this camera and app. Recording shutting off while there was still movement. Then after watching the babies grow I saw them wanting to fledge the nest last night. I got up to check on them this morning and they are gone and not a single recording since last night when they were in the nest.
