I’ve had 2 VicoHome cameras for a long time now. I tried the subscription and it wasn’t worth it. The night view is clear. I’ve had some fun with these. However they’ve always been limited. Can’t get more than 20seconds recorded motion on the free version but eh, not a huge deal. Just trying to watch my cats after all. Pretty recently they made ads pop up Everytime you open the app, STUPID. Then they decreased how many days you can refer back to. OK. Not a huge deal. Now….. can’t watch a single video without a subscription. No thanks! I’m about to give this review on the devices on Amazon as well.

Always some sort of problem after update
It seemed to be coming and going randomly but the problem with the ads they pop up first and they’re still putting ads for scam advertisers like your iPhone has has 8 iOS infections and you have to read your ads before you can open it up and view the now I’m using it today no ads, but the expanded view icon is so small. It’s impossible to open or even Disconnected. Well, I have three of these cameras. I replaced one with a better camera. I’m hoping I still like the system if there with a scam ads, and if I decide to buy the Premium, I don’t need the Reminders

Please add the ability to manually rearrange the order of cameras within the app.
Currently the only way to change the camera order is to unpair and re-pair them, with the most recently paired camera appearing at the top.
It would be much more convenient if I could simply drag and rearrange their cameras into whatever order I prefer!

New update brought in an unskipable ad everytime you want to see a camera.

One of the cheapest cameras ever owned with no pros when it comes to home surveillance even the subscription is a scam

Taking a snap shot does nothing. I’m not buying your plans. It’s a basic thing on every other camera to show a few moments of video.

Multiple camera setup
I needed some assistance with multiple camera setup so I contacted VicoHome’s customer service. They immediately returned my inquiry and assisted me in connecting my third camera. We love our VicoHome bird houses and our videos of all the birds that enjoy them.

Every thing was free now they want to charge for everything. Buy a different brand definitely not this one. Also had constant pop up every time you open the APP.
Disappointed
Used to be my favorite camera system by far, and then they got greedy and added a subscription to remove ads. Now if you don’t pay each month, you have to watch an ad before viewing your cameras. Think someone is breaking in? Watch this add before you can see. Disappointing. Might as well get a mainstream camera system and pay their subscription like ring or simplisafe

Ads and no more footage
loved this app before they removed the ability to see a 5 second clip of what happened. now its just a still image of movement. plus a million ads now.

Used to work just fine. Now it’s a piece of garbage. Will never buy this camera or use this app again
Easy to connect
Very easy to connect to the WiFi and very reasonable price. The subscription is also not very expensive Great product so far. I bought a second one.
STOP w/ the ADS!!
I never had ads until I paid for a subscription which is ridiculous for a camera system. It’s so annoying when I’m being alerted of movement and I have to wait for the ad to finish loading in order to dismiss it.
New update makes camera unusable
App just updated and I can no longer access any videos. Just get the spinning loading icon. Fix it! Is this just a way to make the product unusable so we have to buy new cameras? I guarantee it won’t be a POS vico camera
Complain via Amazon reviews!
Go to Amazon and complain about the app on the product reviews. Hopefully sales will tank and the developer will become better behaved in a future update.

This service did it job until I had a dick pic on my camera that wasn’t me. Can’t find customer service anywhere.
