Bad app
Always shows that VPN was turned off when it never was and it says it blocked website when the phone is not even being touched at all
Why?
Baffled as to why you can only cover Safari. Why not Google & Duck Duck?

Minimal coverage
Covenant Eyes is a wonderful accountability app, but it only seems to work best when you have an android Samsung phone When using an iPhone it only covers a Safari browser which create a move in the back door to Look up other things they really need to fix this in the iPhone iOS version
Your VPN problem has caused me issues nearly daily.
I hope you guys can fix this issue. I have constantly turn off this VPN in order to get any cell phone service or Wi-Fi in my house. Crazy I'm paying $20 a month for you guys to destroy my cell phone service. As I'm writing this review I'm 45 minutes from home and can't use my GPS because of this VPN. I have to delete the app in order to turn off the VPN because I can't just switch off the VPN because your app is constantly Re-engaging the VPN.

My thoughts
I haven’t really been using it much, but….
This app is great.
I like this app because it keeps me on straight an narrow path and that’s what I want to be on.
Requires too much fiddling
If it is not an issue with the VPN blinking in and out, then it is the constant annoyance of having to re-verify the Safari extension. Barring these regular disturbances, the app does what it should.
Good for the Most Part
I’ve used Covenant Eyes for a long time. Overall it’s good for keeping what shouldn’t be on the screen off of it.
But recently, and this is true of my PC too, when I go to use my device, it won’t connect to the internet. Even when I turn the internet on and off, turns out there’s a glitch in CE that sometimes doesn’t let me connect (which is immediately fixed if I uninstall the app). Seems like if CE can’t connect or glitches, everything else shuts down which is really unacceptable. What good is the app if it prevents me from getting directions, weather, other online activities? Please fix.

Safari becomes totally useless with the VPN on.

Good, too many requests
Love the app and the accountability! However, the app keeps on disconnecting, and requesting the extensions to be reenabled even though they are already on. Multiple requests keep on bringing the rating lower and lower.
VPN
My phone has been very unreliable because of the VPN filter. Amazon in particular has become very difficult to use, at times Sports Alerts and others. I see the arrow going round and round but it’s unending and after a few minutes I just leave the site.
I’m glad I got the help from CE to break a terrible cycle of sin I was in, but this has to stop or I’m out of here.

Not secure
I have a little to no technical experience, and I was able to find ways around covenant eyes and a short time. I brought this up to their IT and they said there’s no way to fix it.

Intermittent.
While it works it is great. When it stops all internet completely it becomes a brick wall. And to fix I have had to uninstall and reinstall then it last a few days and I have to redo efforts to get it working again. Frustrating.

It has helped me to not go to porn websites so thank you

By only working through Safari this ap provides minimal reassurance for the cost
Keep Having to Check Safari Extension
The app is great, but for a couple months I keep getting a Safari Extension error which requires me to open Safari to check the extension; this doesn’t take long, but I’m not sure why I keep getting the error…
