This app does the opposite of the script. I do NOT recommend.
App doesnโt work!
I tried using this app again after not using it for maybe a year and it doesnโt work. I kept getting error messages right at the end of it rendering. I paid for an upgrade and paid for credits and it worked perfectly for that. But then it just kept failing to work for anything else. They took my payment and have a bunk app thatโs tied to sora which isnโt even around anymore.

You can promt for a video and it creates a single image. I tried making video several times and just created an image. Worked on it for 2 days. And itโs very poor. Requesting all money refunded and I had pro and yearly . Worst app I have ever used.

Great Concept, but Serious Limitations for Detailed Projects
I really wanted to like VideoGPT because the concept is excellent, but my experience exposed some serious limitations.
I was trying to create a video from a carefully written dialogue containing specific business facts, financial information, accomplishments, and personal context. Instead of reliably preserving the supplied material, the generation process repeatedly shortened, reworded, generalized, or dropped important information.
The input limitations made this especially frustrating. When you are trying to produce something factual rather than a generic entertainment video, every sentence can matter. I spent considerable time shortening and restructuring my material just to get it accepted, only to still have important details altered or removed during generation.
The biggest problem for me is control. If I provide specific dialogue, I need an option that means: use this dialogue exactly as written. Donโt summarize it. Donโt creatively reinterpret the facts. Donโt replace important information with generic motivational dialogue. Let me decide what gets removed.
The underlying idea is genuinely useful, and I can see why people enjoy the app for quick AI-generated videos. But for detailed projects where accuracy and precise dialogue matter, I found the current workflow too restrictive and unpredictable.
I eventually reached the point where building my own generation workflow seemed more practical because I need control over the script, characters, dialogue, voices, scenes, context length, and final output.
I hope the developers add a true script mode, larger input capacity, exact-dialogue preservation, clearer limits, better long-form handling, and more granular generation controls. Those improvements would make this dramatically more useful for serious projects.

Overcharged me
Got it to try it out and cancelled immediately since I then figured it was actually out of my budget. Still got charged twice for a subscription I never used.
Cute but frustrating
I made about 10 videos, which are basically a slideshow style collection of images, and was unable to animate every single one because apparently each Image was โTooโ had to be โunder eight secondsโ. But I had absolutely no control over that.
Eventually I wrote โplease make each image short enough to be turned into an animationโ in the prompt. It seemed to work several times the prompt said โunauthoredโ but eventually itโs submitted.
This app could be good, but has a long way to go

DO NOT BUY THIS APP!
I canceled this malicious subscription, but it keeps charging my account and I can't purchase important items I need such as groceries, gas, ben & jerryโs ice cream etc! without this billing issue popping up like a tumor. Secondly, they the AUDACITY to not do refunds! PLEASE FOR EVERYTHING HOLY DO NOT FALL FOR THIS SCAM.
