Manipulative spam
I will not accept and form of apology from this company. I used to love it. Now i get nothing but misleading email and notifications all of which are based around a paywall. Only to see the fullest extent of what these messages are even talking about i must pay them money first and there are much better platforms out there like pixels that are not like this. Its sad because i started on this app and its just trash now

No AI guardrails, popularity contest and winners who do not follow contest guidelines
Have had multiple communications with VIEWBUG team about AI photos and no guardrails, winners of contests not following guidelines. Recent winner of candid city people contest was a model posing in a parking lot. Popularity wins contests meaning you get folks to vote for your photos to increase VIEWBUG memberships. Even professional “ photographer “ judges do not award based on contest criteria. Buyer beware and protect your photos.

Definitely not worth the $79.99. No real photography feedback. AI generated. I want my money back.
Losing Integrity
They seem to be selling out to social media voting which is not based on photography skills. Your AI generated or terrible images get voted because of social popularity. They want me to share my entries on facebook to get more votes. Isn't this judged by professionals to win? Social ignorance will soon rule this app at the pace it is going.

A shadow of its former greatness
When this app and site came onto the photography scene back years ago, it was a force to be reckoned with. It was a beautiful way to display photos, and photographers encouraged each other through commenting, awarding prizes, not to mention being instrumental in encouraging photo competitions and photo challenges. I was a happy paid subscription member. But as the saying goes, that was then and this is NOW. A platform littered with issues. More often than not, I spend my days scratching my head wondering what the hell is going on with VIEWBUG. Troubles uploading. Troubles with viewing images. Text disappears. If you’re willing to become a paid member, they might actually respond to your messages. Other than that, good night and good luck; you’re on your own. Customer service ZIP! Issues uploading from iPhone either directly or via the phone photos app (that’s never worked). Clunky input of text that does not make any sense. Truly a huge disappointment when VIEWBUG ruled the photographic world. Now a cause of great frustration.
