Awful App!
I’ve been using Village for years, and the drivers are excellent—kind, helpful, and knowledgeable. But the apps have gone from bad to worse to even worse. The current version says drivers are ‘Unavailable’ once you’re beyond 3 miles from their office. If you call you can get someone, but not on the app. So I just use Alpha for those rides, even though I prefer Village.

Love the company but not this app
I’ve always used Village as they’re local to me. But having used the app previously I’ve recently had to re-install it. It asks for my email but doesn’t recognise any of my email addresses. I tried to create an account but my number already exists
So even though the app was useless, it’s note not possible to see if it’s better

Avoid like the plague
Used to be a good service. Now it is extraordinarily poor. As with all automated services “your taxi will be with you shortly”. Well Village taxis idea of shortly ain’t mine. Long waits and occasionally no show on a booking.
Go elsewhere
Same happened to me driver refused to wait as he'd arrived earlier than pick up time and as I went to get in taxi drove off, phones village they offered no apology.
