Amazing Free Thing
I have a hard time believing that such a useful piece of software could be free in this world! I guess I should donate some money to charity in response. A workaround for newer Blender version users is that you can append a 3.6 file to your modern Blender animation and scoop the camera animation up that way, I think. Pretty amazing!

ive been using this addon for a while now, upon a blender update the addon stopped working; that was two years ago.
Good app, not compatible with blender 4.1 onward.
This is a really good app and add on for blender but the devs have not updated the plug-in on their website to support newer versions and it appears that they have no plans to update it. Bummer, but if you use with an older version of blender (4.0 down) it’s pretty good.

To many glitches and errors after recording the mocap that is so annoying, please fix the addon and app

I opens the app but I can’t get in it is good but for some reason I can’t open the animation part the app in the start says this virtucamera.com

Hello, we recommend using Blender LTS versions as they are more stable. We are waiting for a Blender bug to be fixed that is affecting latest 4.x Blender versions, then we will release a new add-on. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Hello, I’m sorry that you are experiencing issues with VirtuCamera, we rely on Blender’s API and there is a Blender bug that needs to be fixed before we can make it compatible. I’m looking for workarounds in the meantime. We recommend using Blender LTS as a more stable version.
Crashes when starting server.
Hi, would love to use this app but it crashes every time I start a server. Emailed the contact email on the website - hoping for a response. Using macOS 14.2.1 and latest version of Blender 4 Help would be appreciated. Thanks

I love this but when will 4.0 work? It works for only one take when you try in 4.0 then freezes won’t allow you to do anything else. Will happily update this to 5 stars when 4.0 support happens. ETA?

This App is extra ordinary. I’m controlling my camera and record in real-time. This is insane. Thrumbs up to the developers. I wish it could have camera tracking capability. Still, so far so good!

A very glitchy mess of an app
No customer support
App per-se is great, but customer support is non existent. The plug-in doesn’t work with Maya 2022.3, even though the website states it works with Maya 2022.
Absolutely worth it
I’ve been using this for several months now and I don’t think I have a bad word to say about it. Individual camera selection, smoothness slider, in app focus range - it’s got everything you could want.
Connecting directly to blender and you can see the camera movement in real time. So much less hassle as opposed to saving the movements to a file and having you upload that file to blender. Everything is instant and automatic. Brilliant app
