About
Vitalia is a strength training app for women over 50, through perimenopause, menopause and after. It offers workouts for home or the gym at your own level, with no equipment needed at home and no account to create.
Vitalia requires a paid monthly or yearly subscription, or a one-time lifetime purchase.
MADE FOR THIS STAGE OF LIFE
Choose your goals and equipment, and tell Vitalia your starting level and which movements to avoid. Your program includes strength and balance exercises. Mark an exercise as too hard or too easy to help adjust future sessions, when a suitable alternative is available. You can also remove exercises from your program.
YOU SAY WHERE YOU START
Just starting? Begin with a gentle session, seated or with support. Its duration depends on the exercises available for your profile. On low-energy days, the gentle option also leaves out exercises you have removed.
BIG TEXT, BIG BUTTONS, A VOICE THAT COUNTS
The workout player is designed to be put on the floor and read from two meters away, without glasses. One instruction, a picture of the exercise, a countdown you can see across the room, and a voice that counts the last seconds and announces what comes next. Put your own music on; the voice speaks over it.
IT HURTS? ONE BUTTON
In program sessions, “It hurts” skips the exercise. You can also remove it for future sessions. You can stop the first minute at any time. Your answers help exclude some exercises. During a session, stop any movement that hurts.
WHAT THE PROGRAM CONTAINS
Over 160 exercises with pictures, from chair stands to gym machines, each with a « why it matters after 50 » in two sentences. Warm-up, strength, balance from 60, a calm finish with slow breathing, and the pelvic floor when you ask for it. Two, three or four workouts a week, ten to thirty minutes. A recovery week every fourth week — planned, and said so.
EAT WITHOUT COUNTING
Twenty-five short articles on the body after 50: protein at every meal, calcium, vitamin D, fiber and the belly, sleep, the heart, the bones, hormones and what to ask your doctor. Each one ends with links to the scientific documents it draws on. No calories to count, ever.
HONEST ABOUT WHAT EXERCISE DOES
Strength work is what keeps muscle and bone after menopause, and this app is built on the published recommendations for it. It does not claim to reduce hot flashes — the evidence for that is not there — and it takes no side on hormone therapy. Where something is uncertain, it says so.
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
No account. Your weight, your pains and your journal never leave your iPhone. Workouts can be saved to Apple Health if you choose.
Do I need equipment?
No. Home sessions work without equipment, and you can also train at the gym.
Is it medical advice?
No. Vitalia offers exercise, not medical care. Ask your doctor if you have a health condition.
Do I need to pay?
You can try a minute of gentle movement during setup. Full access requires a paid plan, with the price in your currency shown before you pay.
Vitalia is a fitness program, not medical advice. It does not diagnose, treat or cure anything. If you have a heart condition, diagnosed osteoporosis, a recent operation or a pain that worries you, show the program to your doctor before starting.
