Worst App Ever
Have tried to use this app for 3 years, each time hoping it has been fixed. It has never worked. I reported it at Spanish consulate and they say it simply doesn’t work. I agree that proof of life is necessary to combat fraud, but a functioning app is very helpful, especially now that that the process is required multiple times a year. It is incomprehensible that this hasn’t been fixed for YEARS. It is almost like Spain wants its elderly pensioners to give up and lose out on rightful payments!

Doesn’t work
It doesn’t work on my iPhone. I know someone with an android for whom it works.I get an error on trying registrar. I have been trying for eight months and it tells me to try again in a few moments every time. I have contacted the SS and although they have replied they haven’t solved the problem. Does it only work on android phones? I now have 5 days left to give my proof of life but I can’t. All information assumes you can register so very frustrating no help for problems at this stage. Alternatives like going to London are expensive and difficult for me

I have to prove I am alive to get my Spanish pension. I have spent hours on the app but it simply does not work. I have written to them and all they do is tell me to go back to the app. What’s the point when it doesn’t work? I have now been three months with no pension.
Pointless - doesn’t work
Have tried multiple times to use the video signature but it just doesn’t work.. keeps saying “Sorry, there was an error. Please access the application again after a few minutes. Excuse the inconvenience.” Have tried multiple times a day for weeks, have deleted the app and reinstalled, makes no difference, always the same error.

Garbage
This app is a complete waste of time. I have an iPhone 13 and used it to TRY and prove my father is still living for the purposes of receiving his Spanish pension in the UK. The video technology does not work and simply takes you back to the beginning of the process where you have to put all your details into the app all over again (because it’s incapable of saving anything!). This process has been in existence for at least a year and I can’t believe it still doesn’t work on a modern smart phone. RUBBISH.

Keeps crashing
Completely unreliable and given I need to help my Mum manage her verification process and do a 50 mile round trip, very frustrating.

I have tried to no avail. It asks for numbers on my pension that do not exist. I can’t change my phone number. Pesadilla.!

Cette application est censée simplifier la vie des retraités, mais c’est tout le contraire ! Entre les bugs incessants, la reconnaissance faciale qui fonctionne une fois sur dix et les problèmes de connexion, c’est un cauchemar. Impossible de valider mon certificat de vie sans devoir recommencer plusieurs fois, et aucune assistance efficace en cas de problème. Pour une application aussi essentielle, c’est inadmissible. Faites mieux !

Has not worked with iPad.
The notes say that the app will work with “this iPad” but I have loaded and tried the app several times since it was issued last year and when it gets to the photo identification stage it just jumps back to the menu page on my iPad.
Funktioniert nicht!
Ich wurde aufgefordert, diese App zu benutzen, um die jährliche Lebensbescheinigung hier digital einzureichen. Wäre sehr schön, funktioniert aber nicht! Wie mein Vorredner habe ich es mehrfach versucht, es endet immer mit Error 20! In der Tat sehr nervig, jetzt muss ich wieder zum Amt laufen und mit der Post schicken.

Is this a scam?
Is this secretly taking photos of my passport and selling them to the dark market because after 2 years of trying it still says it doesn’t read it despite countless times trying from countless devices.
