Downloaded this for the vivitar camera remote control car my little brother got and when I opened the app it played a very loud ringing on my phone after trying to connect to the camera on the car and continuously asking to allow my location and would not let me off the app. Seems like a virus and not a trusting app at all.

It works pretty good sometimes but he keeps crashing but is this the only app for this camera? Is there any other apps?

Nope this is a waste of money. Doesn’t stay connected even without high powered internet. What’s the point of a security camera that is disconnected more times than it’s connected?
Trouble shooting
The live camera is only watchable when the mobile phone is connected to the same wifi the camera uses.

Quit Working
No idea why but the app quit connecting to my camera unless I’m on my home WiFi network. It used to work just fine when I was away from home but not anymore; nothing has changed with my WiFi either - no router changes/updates. The app will no say the camera is disconnected or it’ll briefly show it’s connected before saying disconnected again. Pretty much worthless at this point since I do t need to monitor the camera when I’m at home!
