Don’t use SecureNet!
Doesn’t notify you and provide option to decline or accept each time which would solve that problem - or why not just let customers add their own websites instead of Vodafone making assumptions..?!
As a result, you have to keep checking what is allowed or blocked and manually delete as appropriate.
Not knowing actually makes things less secure!!
Vodafone offer no solution and a developer replied and just said ‘use social media channels’ if I wanted to discuss, but no idea how that works so I’m not going to lose another 60 minutes my life finding out.
Use a better, more secure provider that doesn’t charge £2 monthly and have a very unsafe element, rip-off and very poor service as a Vodafone customer!
Response from developer
We understand that your experience with Secure Net has been quite frustrating, especially with the automatic blocking and allowing of websites. Your feedback about the absence of notifications and the need for more user control is invaluable. If you could share more details via our social media channels, it would greatly assist us in addressing this issue. Thank you for your insights, and we hope you find a solution that better meets your needs moving forward.
Doing its job
Response from developer
It's wonderful to know that Secure Net is effectively blocking suspicious activity for you! We truly appreciate your feedback about the notifications not providing detailed information. We hear your concerns about the notifications and need for clarity regarding the devices being blocked. Your feedback is valuable, and it highlights areas where we can improve communication. We're consistently looking to improve the product, please bear with us as this feature is on its way soon.
Useless Rubbish
keeps blocking legitimate work
Ok
Update. Now get notification with what the attempt was but still no detail in the app just high level number. Need which device the attempt was made on, even if it is just the IP address and the malware. So I can investigate more
