Easy listening tour guide.
Little África Black History walk in Rio
Beware: Badly broken
iOS 26 issue. Odd that no other app I use performs like VoiceMap, so this seems like an excuse to me. The playback stopping/tour quitting was not mentioned in the dev’s reply.
Used VoiceMap on two trips to Italy more than a year ago and it was great. But on a recent (26-07) trip the app performed terribly. Audio kept stopping during the tour, on my iPhone 17 Pro. Happened at least 5x in about an hour. About half the time the app had quit/crashed. And the app drained the battery on 2 17-series iPhones absurdly fast! Lost about 75% in just 2 hrs.

★★★★★ A must-have experience for visiting Meiji Jingu.
This audio guide transformed my visit from a simple sightseeing trip into a meaningful cultural journey.
The storytelling helped me understand the history, rituals, and philosophy behind Meiji Jingu in a way that I could never have learned by walking around alone. The GPS-based guidance was very convenient, allowing me to focus on the scenery and atmosphere instead of constantly looking at my phone.
A beautifully created tour that I would recommend to every traveler visiting Tokyo. Thank you for creating such a wonderful way to connect with Japanese culture.
Wonderful concept!
Super buggy and steals your money
Response from developer
Thanks for the feedback. We'd love to try and address the two issues you've pointed out, but more info would be a great help. Changing narration speed shouldn't lead to overlapping audio, but every tour is different and if you were to drive a walking tour – for example – there are instances where this could happen. Could you please send an email to support@voicemap.me with the name of the tour and whether you were speeding up or slowing down the audio? As for the request to a parent issue, this isn't something we've explicitly tested. But Apple in-app purchase is an imperfect system with all sorts of frustrations for developers. If you're buying for a group, I recommend doing so at voicemap.me, where there is a flow especially for this. If you've been overcharged, we'll do what we can to help. Again, the best thing would be to email support@voicemap.me. Thanks!
