I recently got into streaming things over my iPhone after buildign a high end PC and moonlight hasn’t been updated and seeing you updating the app so often alone made me wanna buy it :)

Unusable
I was really looking forward to using this since the set up with moonlight is very limited. However, I was unable to get a single game working smoothly on here. I even changed all the settings to optimize but the lag was so horrible it made it unbearable. Looks like I’m going back to moonlight.
Not legitimate
I bought this thinking it was a complete application only to find out that I was expected to pay extra if I wanted all of the features.
Pay walls??
Got this app a bit ago to play games remotely with tailscale and it works great! However I’m trying to get into digital art and thought this could be a great way to use desktop drawing programs on my iPad. Come to find out that if I want to do this I have to spend $6 on a drawing toolkit to make the Apple Pencil actually usable? If the base app was free I wouldn’t really care about charging for this, but the fact that this is a premium app that already costs money is absurd. There is no reason that support like this should be locked behind a pay wall. Im extremely disappointed and this has left quite a sour taste in my mouth. The rest of the app is great but this is just greedy, do better.

Moonlight+
If you ever used Moonlight and needed an app that was more customizable and more able than its predecessor, then this is the app that you will want to get. It is genuinely well-developed and easily understood if you have any experience with apps like this or apps that are similar. Great way to do remote desktop from anywhere. I've been saying for years that people need to start doing this instead of buying Duet or something like that. Super easy to set up. If you have any experience with computers, you can set it up with Tailscale, also another great app not sponsored by either of these. Tailscale, where you can do it from anywhere, or you can just stick with the at-home use. Genuinely well done guys, this Is a great app.

Amazing
It works great ! So much better than Steam Link and it is flawless, I can finally adapt the remote session with my iPhone screen ratio and everything comes back to normal on my computer when the session is over.
I just have a question for the developper: Is it possible to specifically force the rumble on the iPhone instead of the controller ?
Currently there’s an « auto » option to automatically redirect if the controller does not support rumble but it does not work as my controller is marked as having « rumble support » in the settings despite not having any motors at all (Leadjoy M1C+).

there's a "built-in" option right next to "auto" in "controller section -> haptic engine". I think this will work, if don't, tap top right corner of the app host view, find our discord community and I'll investigate

this possibly has all the bestest features from microphone redirect to using iPhone gyro as a aiming input in games with lowest latency and smooth gameplay with haptics and especially the AV1 codec ….

I wish i didn't update
The last update caused me some trouble , now my native touch stopped working ( because of the zoom thing ) , suddenly i got doubled NAT with it + sunshine ( 2 wifi routers connected throught LAN) and i can't connect unless i'm on the same router or through tailscale ( extra latency) , i can't get the full screen on my ipad , just the tv
And now i'm stuck with this update :)
Also the mouse pointer is now shown on , i cant move my mouse on touchpad to another monitor unless it's shown on the same ipad screen
Now if i bring down the notification center it freezes , having to disconnect and reconnect again so it runs smoothly again

Almost perfect
The only thing I wish this app had was the ability to zoom in when using the touch pad mouse. I could replace chrome remote desktop if this was possible. Touch mode with 2 finger pan and zoom would also be nice!
Rumble through Mifi?
This is the best moonlight client for iOS full stop. I hope someday they’re able to implement rumble through mifi controllers. I have a Gamesir G8+ Mifi, but it only supports rumble if it’s used through the Mifi protocol… which is rarely done.

Ok, this is a typical error message of Sunshine (the service app running on your PC failed to assign a display for streaming). 1. It's not a client app(VoidLink/Moonlight) issue. 2. If you have a physical monitor connected, to quickly verify your connection, select a lower resolution like 1920x1080 from the left side settings menu. Then you can try add custom resolution of your iPhone/iPad to the GPU control panel. 3. If your PC is running completely headless without any physical monitor, you'll need a dummy plug (fake displayer), or try installing Sunshine forks with built-in virtual display, one of the most popular ones is Apollo: https://github.com/ClassicOldSong/Apollo
Great and customisable
I love all the options, theres more than I hoped for. Buttons for chorded keypresses and G15 / Razer like macros. It is much more fluid and modern than Moonlight

Best steaming client for Apple devices
I’ve tried moonlight and it always stuttered. This thing is buttery smooth. Use it on my iPhone 15 Pro, iPad M4 Pro, and MacBook M3 Pro. It works on all of em. Worth the $1 folks!
BUY IT
Very good app. Few things that need fixes/tweaks, changing the sensitivity does not work for iPad touchpad. Apple pencil is sometimes buggy. Also I would change it somehow to make it easier to swipe left to menu because it feels laggy sometimes. Please try to fix this for seamless operation, sending love. ❤️ P.S you should charge more money for this app like 4.99.

Inaccessible - No network connection
In my iPad, Void link doesn’t detect anything on my pc even despite sharing the same wifi and ip address. I don’t see anyone making tutorials about this.

Don't blame me it's the problem of your network. Try moonlight-iOS you'll get the same result, unless you totally forgot to grant network access to VoidLink. PC under Wi-Fi connection got lot of connection issues. wired ether connection is strongly suggested. Also try add host manually by entering IP
best pc streaming app on ios
for developer: i use ios15 and if there is a way to hide the navigation bar at the bottom of the screen, and the three multitasking dots at the top. it would be much appreciated. i know some of the other streaming apps don't have these by having them in some fullscreen mode.
