Can’t get support
Filled in contact support form and it kept saying the name field needed to be entered even though I entered my full name. Tried many times. So sorry, can’t recommend an app that I can’t get support for. There was only the one link to their support group provided.

Database is several years too old
I purchased this app 3 days ago and to find out its database is way too old. I.e.: VOR GRR no longer exists, the new one is VIO and this, again, was changed several years ago.
True North not Magnetic North
True North not Magnetic North was a screen that came up the first time I opened the app. I wanted this as a training aid but if it doesn’t work the same (true vs magnetic) how do you know you’re doing it right as you won’t end up where you are expecting. We all have ForeFlight or equivalent on our phones so nobody’s getting lost.

Thank you for your comments! It’s true that all electronic flight bag instruments use True north, since A)that’s what the GPS system provides, and 2) it is difficult to calculate local difference between true and magnetic without internet access. Also of note, the magnetic north moves, so your reference/training material needs to be updated every year or two. For many training scenarios, True north should be fine.
