I have to reset my password every time
I have my password saved on my phone but when I try logging in it tells me I have to reset it every single time. Even when I just reset it two minutes ago. Absolute trash!
Almost useless
The app does not use biometrics like Face ID to log in. You have to use your username and password every time you login. But the worst part is that if you switch out of the app to look at a date on a receipt, for example, and you switch back, app logs you out and you have to start all over again from scratch. I’ve never seen a modern day app at behave like that.

Worst app and support I’ve ever experienced in all of my online interactions. Their only motivation is keeping you away from the benefits you deserve.
Garbage app
What a waste of time. It doesn’t accept your password and redirect you to change it. You change it and then it doesn’t accept the new password. Waiting a day to let their system update doesn’t change. A waste of time I wish we wouldn’t have changed to this company.
Almost useless
The app has started to “reset” if you switch out of it to look at a receipt pic for example. It prompts you to log in again and any progress you’ve made making a claim is lost.

The app only shows 2025 and does not show anything for 2026.

The app is telling me no account available. I have to go to my laptop and log in there. The customer service rep said to go to Apple and request help with the app from there. Apparently Voyager has no app support?!?
To make matters worse, I received texts that my new debit card was mailed and the very next day, another text that the old card was deactivated and the new one was ready for use.

Simply doesn’t work
If I log into this app it will tell me that no account exists which is very alarming. If I log into the web app I can see my data. Why have a mobile app at all? Honestly inexcusable for a large company or even a small one. I will be putting all my HSA funds into Optum HSA instead as this does not breed confidence in Voya that they are responsible with my resources.

This app must have been developed by a blind monkey with memory problems using a Commodore 64 computer from 1988. It will drive you crazy.
Awful user experience
Our company switched to Voya and I wish they hadn’t. The app and website are so slow, can’t see any way to invest, and there’s limited info to help you manage the account . The app doesn’t load half the time and gets stuck at login window with spinning circle. I’ve reinstalled with no resolution.
Stupid: never remembers login info
This app is useless. I’d be better off making a webpage bookmark on my iPhone screen. EVERY-TIME you open the app it has to load the login screen and then I have to log in. It is worse than just going to the website. I have never used a more dumb app than this one.

Like others have said, this app is awful. Nothing works, nothing loads, dead links everywhere and anytime I actually need to do anything I can’t because nothing works. This company is by far the worst FSA I’ve ever used in my entire career, wish my company would have never switched to this organization, absolutely brutal.

No “remember sign in”
You need to sign in every single dang time you want to open the app. Then it also opens an external browser every single time, too.

This a zero star app
This app just told me I couldn’t log in using the credentials I had to confirm on their website and then told me to download an app. The app told me TO GO DOWNLOAD ITSELF. For not working. Useless.
Daaaaamn
I was not expecting to see a 1.2 star rating when I got ready to drop a review but it is well deserved. App is useless and constantly crashes like others have mentioned. No, it has not gotten better. The website is a little bit better but still has bugs too. Finally decided to cut loose ends, delete the app, and close my Voya account. It’s not worth being charged monthly fees on my HSA account with the quality Voya provides. Will never sign up with Voya again.
