Vozkey

Vozkey is a keyboard that types what you say. Tap Speak, talk, tap Stop, and the words land in whatever app you are already in: messages, email, notes, a search field, anywhere a keyboard appears. It was built for people who can speak comfortably but cannot type comfortably. Essential tremor, arthritis, RSI, weakness, a limb difference, a hand in a cast. Every control follows from that. NOTHING YOU SAY LEAVES THE DEVICE Speech recognition runs entirely on your iPhone. No account, no sign-up, no server, no upload. It works on a plane, in a dead zone, with Wi-Fi switched off. And because there is no cloud bill behind it, there are no word limits, no weekly caps, and no metering of any kind. Talk as much as you like. BUILT FOR HANDS THAT SHAKE • Tap to start, tap to stop. Never press-and-hold. Sustained pressure and a clean release is exactly the motion a tremor makes unreliable. • Large targets, generously spaced, that do not move under your finger. • No key-repeat-on-hold anywhere. Delete a whole word with one tap instead of holding backspace down. • Said it wrong? Tap Cancel while it is working and throw the whole thing away rather than waiting for text you are only going to delete. • Teach it names it keeps getting wrong once, in Word Corrections, and it applies them from then on. HOW IT WORKS, AND PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE BUYING Vozkey needs two things that iOS requires of any keyboard like this: 1. You add the keyboard in Settings and turn on Full Access, so the keyboard can talk to the app. 2. You open Vozkey and tap Arm microphone before you go off to type. iOS does not allow a keyboard to open a microphone on its own. Only the app can, so Vozkey holds it ready for you in the background. After you tap Stop, transcription takes a few seconds. Vozkey runs a large, accurate speech model on your phone's own processor instead of a fast one in a data centre, and that is the trade being made: you wait a moment, and your voice never leaves your phone. WHAT VOZKEY IS NOT It is a dictation keyboard, not a replacement for your typing keyboard. There are no letter keys. You switch to Vozkey to speak and back to your usual keyboard to type. Backspace, delete-word and clear-all are there so you can fix something without switching away. REQUIREMENTS iPhone running iOS 26 or later. Newer iPhones transcribe noticeably faster. Subscriptions renew automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel in Settings, under your name, in Subscriptions.
