I have used this app for a couple of years and so far it works in the U.K. The real test will be to stream tv channels abroad without any problems. This VPN app is free on certain servers but to access all servers you have to pay. Other VPNs claim to work abroad but either cause buffering and shut off after 30 minutes (no use for something which is a minimum of 45 or 90 minutes long) or are blocked because of geographical restrictions (i.e. the VPN doesn’t work). This is not the cheapest paid service available. Once set up it is fairly simple to use when you have selected favourites in the location you use most. I have never run out of data (10Gb) yet.

Taking so long to load stuff
It takes so long to load stuff and sometimes it don’t load at all very slow very very so if I want to look at Facebook I have to turn it off it’s that slow

Russia is heavily blocking VPNs right now. Turn on Circumvent Censorship in Preferences > Connection, then try WireGuard 443/80/53, Stealth, or WStunnel. It changes constantly, but support can help too: windscribe.com/support

Easy to use. Would purchase a subscription but quite expensive.

I am retired and cannot afford vpn until I found Windscribe as you need plan. Also Garry helped me resolve an issue where after I installed Windscribe my bluetooth audio receiver stopped connecting. Garry helped me troubleshoot and now my audio and vpn are setup and working. I love the humorous dialogue😂

Beware
The Windscribe app informed me it needed an update. Fine. Updated. That took only a minute or two. That was followed by TWO FULL DAYS OF TRYING TO GET IT TO WORK AGAIN. It’s working again, but I’m supposed to be a customer, not an IT tech. The effort needed is unacceptable.

That’s a fair gripe. Updates should not turn you into unpaid IT. If this happens again, send logs to windscribe.com/support so we can see what broke after the update. Glad it’s working again, but two days of wrestling is not okay.

Best VPN to have
In my opinion Windscribe is the best hands down. It’s easy to use and gets the job done. It even has a free version with a good amount of vpn security each month. But it’s worth the price to get more control and security.This can be used it would wide to keep your data secure. Choose where you want your location to be simple and easy to use.

Buggy
App is very buggy on both iOS and TVOS. Switching protocols does not work, constantly hangs when trying to connect on networks which restrict some VPNs.
Worst VPN for streaming
Speed test shows full speed but streaming anything is buffering constantly
