Great app

I think this app is great, it has great questions to reflect on and show gratitude. I paid for the premium subscription and it has some flaws, for one whenever you open it, it wants you to book a 30 min call for a free upgrade.. I already paid for the subscription so unsure why this keeps happening, also when your doing the journey it never lets you get to chapter 2 even when you’ve fully completed chapter 1. The only other thing is that I wish you could shuffle the questions more than 3 times or if not at least let you rotate back through them to pick your favorite at that moment not just get stuck on the last one, especially with the paid subscription.

Waffle

It makes me feel closer to my family and I love journaling.

It’s great

It’s great but one problem I only get 1 writing prompt per journal without plus and if I get it my sister does and then my mom also plays it so that would be a lot plus it’s just a pointless subscription I can just write in my journal app please improve on that

P.s* also I cannot go search websites on google so don’t ask me too I’m not allowed

Helps

It helps me focus
And make me happy

Expensive

Doesn't tailor to the individual specifically. Generic questions which are in a variety of other apps, but cheaper

Nice idea,

but annual billing turns away almost every customer that’s interested

Waffle

This app is amazing it helps family’s grow bigger and bigger by just sharing thoughts

Pay to journal

Thought it was an app to help you get closer to your daughter

Rating it

It’s interesting. They’re asking me to rate the app before I’ve even used it. I would probably have a better idea of what the app can do once I have used it.

Doesn’t work and you steal money

This app was not working g I did not sign up for the yearly subscription and you pulled money out of my account causing an overdraft. So now I have a year of your ‘services’ , no account because I deleted it and no response from your customer service about refunding my money. I am a single mother of a minor child who has a chronic illness and we live on a very fixed income….I want my money back and you need to do it NOW! Never in my life have I ever dealt with such a horrible experience!

Be careful

Thought I was downloading the free version. I’m sad that I paid so much money for this app.

Waste of money

Trying to cancel but it’s impossible! Had to call my bank

Amazing!

Really good for getting to know your family and friends better plus you get fun and exiting questions!

PREVIOUS TITLE - forever one of my favorite apps

UPDATE: i suppose all good things must come to an end… it is now very distinctly a “freemium” app, with a cost that increases with the number of journals you have—since i raved so much about the app, i had tons of journals, and the unlimited tier is more than i can afford. none of my friends or family or coworkers are willing to pay that much either, so unfortunately we no longer use the app. i’d give it zero stars if i could.

i’ve tried a LOT of journaling apps… probably 97% of the free ones 😅 this is by far THE best one, for so many reasons. i love the concept of a shared journal—i had been keeping a shared note with my friend, but it wasn’t really as efficient as i thought it would be. my mom and i used to have this tiny mailbox that we would leave notes in for each other, and this is exactly that. now that we no longer live together, this is perfect. it’s simple to use, even she can figure it out 😂 it’s beautifully designed and works perfectly. i honestly can’t believe how lovely it is, and it doesn’t even have any ads! there’s no “catch,” this isn’t one of those “freemium” apps that ultimately require a purchase to be any good. that said, now that i have had the privilege of experiencing the app, i’m actually more willing to pay a little to help support them than if i had been forced to do it in order to fully enjoy the app’s features. sato, the developer, is so incredibly nice and uses feedback to immediately improve the app. i love that i’m able to text him for any (app-related) support needed; i work all day, and texting is SO much more convenient than trying to navigate an online form or finding the time for a phone call. overall, i love how waffle allows me to stay in the loop about my friends’ and family’s lives. i work crazy hours and i don’t want to wake people up when i get home at 3 in the morning, but i love to read about their day and the little things they couldn’t share while i was working, or give my thoughts on something when they ask for advice. i also like to share a funny story from work or leave a picture of my cat 😁 it’s really nice that there’s no pressure to write out long entries cataloging every detail of the day; you can interact with it when you have the time and energy, instead of feeling obligated to answer a text right away. and for the days when you want to reach out but just don’t know what to talk about, there is even a list of prompts to choose from!!! this is genuinely one of the best apps i’ve ever had and will stay on my phone forever. thank you sato! 🧇

Not Sure Yet

Just longing on to get started. It has already asked for a large payment and I haven’t even started

Not free

I thought this was a free app, but it’s making you only get a seven day trial for free

Won’t let me continue

Will update if it’s not behind a paywall

Good

Good, fun app-good for family talking or other things. wish you didn’t have to pay for plus tho.

Takes forever

To set up. 20 questions. Forced me to rate the app before even telling me what it costs.
