Very easy to invest with Wahed. Wish I had acted on it sooner.
Worse verification system
It’s been months since I am trying to verify myself. They are keep on rejecting it, It’s ridiculous.
It’s a scam
When you will withdraw money it take 7-10 business days and every time u want to take it out your profile will show ur at loss and always make u lose money. Never earn profit!
Never increases
Just to update, I deposited $100 in 2024. I’m now at $8. It has never increased. Just steadily dropping for 2 years now. Still can’t close what investments you want. They make all choices.. doesn’t matter which portfolio you select. I will say though, when this company first started, they were giving out $100 to new users. I did withdraw that money at that time, and then redeposited it in 2024. So I don’t really consider it that I lost money since it’s the same $100 They gave. But I’m definitely not happy with the results, and won’t be investing anything additional

UI feels slow and less competitive fee structure compared to other DIY investment platforms.
I’ve been using Wahed since 2020, but personally, I feel that the app has unfortunately failed to keep pace with the market.
1. Performance & UI: The interface feels significantly slower and laggier than competitors like Moomoo or StashAway. Navigating the portfolio shouldn't feel like a chore in 2026.
2. Lack of Transparency: Withdrawal pricing feels "sketchy." When I request a full withdrawal, the app captures market prices from a much later date. While I 'might' not 'lose' money, the lack of real-time T+0 or T+1 transparency in the UI is jarring for a financial app.
3. Portfolio Misalignment: The graphs are confusing. They don’t follow the performance of the underlying HLAL or UMMA ETFs 1:1, and there is zero in-app explanation as to why. This makes the referral program a hard sell to regular people.
4. The "Fee Trap": For instance, if you have more than RM30k—a typical amount for someone trying to save, yet still far below the RM500k required for the 0.39% wrap fee—the costs become unjustifiable. You are paying a 0.79% management fee and a 0.5% ETF fee, plus the new 8% SST on financial services. With brokers like Moomoo offering direct access to HLAL/SPUS and a wide range of other Shariah-compliant stocks that feature automated recurring buys and no extra "management" layer, Wahed is losing its value proposition for long-term investors such as myself.

Ridiculous fees
Put £50 a year ago just to test out how the Wahed ISA compares with the rest of the market and it has been the worst compared to all of them.
I lost more than 50% of the amount all on fees and I’m in the process of withdrawing my money cause there’s no point…

Have been using Wahed for a number of years now, as a security investment option. They currently have a gold option, and a savings account - subscribed to both. App is fairly stable and the customer service is always reliable - recently had an issue with my name being too long (story of my life!) to fit their processor, and that got sorted. What I also like is the ability to make recurring deposits, and ease of withdrawal. Keep up the good work.

I have started back in 2020 and since then, Wahed is one of my main investment platform. Easy to use and comparatively low fee. Recommended for everyone looking for long term investment.

App Not Working
App stopped working today. After Face ID login the screen goes blank and nothing happens. Please fix it
Negative earnings
Started investing more than a year ago, not a single time they went positive on earnings. Not even close to 0. It’s been negative since it started and it’s been going down since. Portfolio is on the moderate but idk about the choices of people who manage the money.
Login Troubles
Get email code to set up account, type code, says invalid code. Type the same code again. Invalid. Resend code, says too many tries. Can’t even set up the account.
Glitches
Too many glitches. I setup auto pay and it doesn’t take money out when I click pay now it says successful and then next page error message
Fix the app please. log in and face id issues on the app
Log in issues and face id been having app issues on iPhone 12 on ios 18 and now on ios 26. Have to log in with password everytime. I have to manually press face id log in every time i open the app. Now after this recent update the app opens and when I put in password and log in nothing happens just a blank screen. I have closed app and tried again same result. Even after deleting app and reinstalling is same result. Please please fix it or give us a web version. Thank you
