What's New in wAIpoint
2.5
April 25, 2026
Major update — 20 pro-curated tours, smarter tour engine, and a brand-new onboarding flow. • 20 featured tours launching today: Miami, New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Chicago, Washington DC, Boston, Seattle, New Orleans, Austin — each with a driving AND a walking tour voiced with natural, studio-quality narration. Free to play, no account required. • New tour-generation engine — we rebuilt the engine around a curated "canon" of iconic stops per city, combined with pro tour-operator assembly rules (anchor + connector + tight narrative arcs). Tours you generate in any city now consistently hit the right landmarks in the right order. • First-launch walkthrough — a quick 2-screen welcome followed by an interactive coach-mark tour that shows you where to tap. Replay anytime from Profile → "How wAIpoint Works." • Closest-city quick start — if you're within 50 miles of a featured city, we surface a subtle one-tap card under the search bar so you don't have to type the name. • Nearby Cities sheet redesigned — each city renders as a themed gradient card with a landmark icon. Much easier to browse at a glance. • Share any tour — private OR public. Share links now work for every tour you generate, not just community ones. Recipients open the link, it deep-links into wAIpoint, and the tour loads immediately. • Passenger Mode layout fix — narration text no longer overflows the screen on large devices. • Regenerate with feedback — when you ask to regenerate a tour with a custom prompt, you now see a confirmation banner telling you exactly what changed ("Added 2 new stops" or "Stops and narration updated"). • Sign up with email — a new Sign In / Sign Up toggle on the welcome screen so new users can create an account without needing Apple or Google sign-in. • Swipe-to-dismiss on the Continue-your-tour chip and the Closest-City cue. • Dozens of UX polish fixes: tab bar spacing above cards, dialog z-order corrections, button row consolidated to reduce visual clutter.
