The best banking app
I love Walden Mutual and the app is a great, well-designed tool. It’s better than most banking apps in that it’s clean, easy to use the features, and I really love it. It’s the best environmentally friendly bank app and I’ve tried like six. I’m proud to be a Walden Mutual banking member.

Walden Mutual has great service from US based employees who answer quickly and efficiently.
However, I have been a customer since the beginning and they have not made a lot of feature enhancements since opening. Still no Apple Pay for debit cards. Their rates don't really match other online only banks. And they recently took away my favorite feature of having one main account in favor of having traditional checking/savings split accounts with no interest on the checking. That was very disappointing.

This is definitely the best experience I’ve had with any banking institution out there. Their support team is very responsive and eager to help, they have a mission that tangibly helps the community and they clearly communicate how they support it, and their app is impressively developed considering that they are a newer and smaller bank. It would be great to see more features developed in app as they grow, but they already excel in having great customer service and in making it easy to navigate the app

Early Days
Thrilled to be a member of the Walden community. But eagerly waiting some barebones features to make the experience that much better..Debit Card Management (freeze/unfreeze), Network ATM locator, support for Apple Pay/Apple Wallet, Zelle built in, etc
Waiting indefinitely?
The app looks great but it’s useless: I opened an account two weeks ago and am still waiting for it to be approved. Why do I have to wait weeks to be approved for a checking account? There is nothing on Walden’s web site that explains this process or says how long it will take or what the approval decision is based on. It’s just a checking account, not a mortgage; why am I waiting weeks for approval? If I had known this was going to happen I would not have opened an account with them.
