Pay to win

This game gets hard really fast and there is barely any way to progress beside spending an insane amount of money. Too bad cause it could be a solid game if not for the devs greed

Was great now less so

This was a really fun game. It had ads that I could choose to watch which I always did for the extras. Then it changed now everytime I play a level it makes me watch ads. For nothing. I don’t mind if I can choose. But if I have to, well then I’m out.
Too bad!

Great at the beginning

This game at the beginning is amazing it’s fun and there’s plenty to do. Then you’ll hit a wall, this wall will take you days sometimes a week to pass a level unless you spend money. Then you’ll pass two or three levels and stuck again. At some point it makes you lose interest in the game.

Response from developer

Thanks for the thoughtful feedback! We hear you on the difficulty spikes — the team reviews progression pacing based on player feedback like yours. If future updates smooth out those walls, we'd love for you to revisit your rating. — The Wall Brawl team at HOMA

Constant crashes

Game can’t be fun, but the constant crashes during the Adventures challenges are irritating. Crashes occur any time - before it starts, halfway through or just before the end.

Response from developer

Thanks for sticking with Wall Brawl despite the crashes during Adventures — that's genuinely frustrating, especially near the finish line. Please email wallbrawl.support@homagames.com with your device details so we can investigate. A restart may help in the meantime. If resolved, an updated rating would mean a lot! — The Wall Brawl team at HOMA

Nice game but…

I kind of like this version of TD, and I played this for a bit, but I guess I couldn’t handle the ads. It’s not many, sure, but why are the ads mostly 2 minutes long? In very very rare cases, I timed it and it took 2 minutes and 18 seconds. Others would mostly be 1 minute and 50 seconds. I’d be lucky if I got the 45 second ads, but what I hate most are the 2 minute long ads when I start a game for the 3x speed, or even the double rewards at the end. Again, not many ads, but still. Why?
It’s an okay game otherwise.

Constant Disadvantages

At first, I really enjoyed this game! However, as I play it more, i’m starting to understand why many of my Guild members have stopped playing for days!

This game is constantly putting you at disadvantages for the different levels. For example, there’s a mode where almost every hero type is a disadvantage except one, however the ones that might help we advance the level NEVER show up on my list of heroes to select! (Develops can say that it’s random but with today’s machine learning and artistically intelligence…i’m sure there’s a way to improve this algorithm)

Great game - greedy developer

Ok - I love td games. This game is lovable. There are great cards, great mechanics - a good community, but the “free” stuff you get is just so minimal, that you get to a point of u can’t progress at a reasonable pace, without paying. I’m not asking for mountains of free stuff, just a reasonable amount. 20 gems for finishing a set of daily quests, is unreasonably low. 200 is perhaps better, maybe even 100. But 20 is just unreasonably low.

There is no information in the game on all the different upgrades a specific card can get. This is a key gap.

HOMA GAMES - please pls consider more reasonable rewards that are the free version, you will gain and retain more players. You will notice I’ve also purchased in the game so am not a cheapskate. Pls fix these and other issues, this game has clash Royale potential!!!

Pay to Win

This game is super fun: the combat is interesting, the design is cute, and I like a lot about it. However, the biggest issue is that you have a very small energy pool, and levels cost a lot of energy to play. There's a tavern that gives you a lot of energy daily, but because levels are insanely hard to beat, you have to use that energy on patrolling (meaning you don't actually play) for small rewards. Additionally, levelling up characters is expensive with in-game currency, and with day-of-the-week limitations, it goes REALLY slow. This is a game that definitely fits the play style of either players that want to spend real money or are extremely patient and like repetition.
To solve these issues, I think lowering the amount it energy it costs to play a level is one fix, then making the first star for a character easier to obtain without real money (then further stars requiring time and money).
I'm gonna keep playing, but man, this game can be infuriating even with spending money; I pay for VIP and STILL can't progress because of the difficulty.

Money Pit

Unless you are willing to fork up a bunch of money every month to make any progress in this game - I don’t recommend it. I’ve also seen some adds for it that are completely misleading. Leaderboards essentially show who has paid the most. There hasn’t been new content in a long time. Don’t waste your time or money.

New Player

I’ve been playing this game on and off for a few weeks now. It has actually been a very fun experience. I spent a few dollars because they make it affordable and I hope it remains this way. Looking forward to levelling up my heroes and getting some serious wall defence happening ☺️☺️

Thanks so much for the kind words and for supporting Wall Brawl! 💛 We're thrilled you're enjoying the experience and finding the prices fair. Wishing you epic hero level-ups and rock-solid wall defence ahead! ☺️ — The Wall Brawl team at HOMA

Game Feels Neglected

Been playing for about 3 months and have seen zero new content in the game. 95% of my server and top clan have quit as there is nothing to do besides spend hundreds of $$ to get a very small bump in power and progress maaaaybe 1-2 levels. Very solid base game/foundation that seems dev love fell off for it in favor of a cash grab as currently zero new content being produced. Weekly events are a copy/paste of ptw no effort “content”. Very disappointed.

Pay 2 Win

Pretty fun, but you eventually hit a roadblock where you need to either spend cash to progress, or wait weeks to get past a particular level. The upgrade cards in a run are randomized, so you need either luck, or the heroes you need at the start which also costs money to be able to do that. The arena is the same way. It’s fun, but you pay to win.

Really good

Probably the best TD I’ve played in a while. It feels fair. Unlocking quite a few characters just for playing the game. And further leveling them up by pulling them. This will allow you to take a beneficial character in to battle eliminating chance. I do wish the pull rates on souls were better because it is extremely hard to pull an extra. The animations are super slick, and the fights are very satisfying. I have a feeling I will be playing this for a very long time. Guys I recommend supporting this game. In my opinion best bang for your buck are key fund for gacha spins, and gem fund for reaching levels.

Really nice game.

Super expensive

These guys are drunk this game gets hard fast and they want you to spend hundreds of dollars lol fff that

Overall thoughts

So far the game has a ton of bugs like not rewarding watched ads or any watched ads rewards for that matter, even in the dungeon and mines.

Slightly polished but still P2W

So many pay walls that you can’t enjoy the game. Had potential but ultimately way too greedy.

No support

The game is fun, but support is non responsive. I spent time and money on this game. Got a new phone and lost all my progress. Contacted support twice and never received a follow up or even a response. Save your money.

Fun and easy to get into

I play a lot of quick games when I only have a few minutes to play, here and there.

This game is great at being accessible but also having some depth and unlocking more power, characters etc. good game! Pretty fun, give it a go. I’m F2P.

Game massively needs work.

The star system to have your champs start with you is absurd. Not being able to keep champs out of the rotation since you can hardly build your lineup is also absurd. And gold/xp is actually insanely slow to get so progress is abysmal. Better off playing something else as mobile games shouldn’t be such a massive time sink IMO.
