Lost my progress
This is just too unprofessional in this day and age. I love this game, have played and beat the first, was excited about this one, until the fifth map or so and it just deleted my progress and wants me to start from the beginning. This is so incredibly deflating. I just don’t even want to play it anymore. And the game is slow to start up, you need to go through all the tutorials and scenes. I just want my progress back! I paid money for this. It’s absurd.

Great Strategy Gameplay
I love this as a TBS fan. I do have a big gripe over my progress being wiped when I try to export/import between my devices. Export the save file, import it on my iPad, both devices now back at zero progress… very frustrating.
Edit for developer response- The issue is not that the save file disappeared, I can see and access it on all my devices, but it loads as a new game. Everything LOOKS like it’s going well, but it’s a fresh start.

Hey TBSplayer, sorry to hear you've had your saves wiped twice, that's really frustrating! Can you confirm you've double checked your cloud saves, just in case there's hope!

SRPG好きは絶対ハマると思います。
ただ、全体画面やターン終了画面、二本指での操作など、スマホならではの操作が少し不便ではあります。

Needs a usability overhaul
I wanted to love this game, but the UI leaves a lot to be desired. Feels like a console game ported to a phone with no consideration for usability. As far as the game itself goes it’s solid but I won’t be playing it with my friends as I had hoped because the interface is terrible for fingers.

Fantastic game brought to mobile!
Wargroove 2 is a fantastic turn based strategy game. Easy to learn and fun to play, the art style is a great throwback to classic games of yesteryear. The multiplayer is cross platform (across PC, Switch, etc.) and an example of how multiplayer should be done! Love this game and love the fact that I can now play it on the go!

Wow, what a beautiful little game. It’s touching, story is engaging, funny in the right moments, endearing the next. And the combat takes real thought, between knowing terrain and unit abilities. Seriously, why the negative reviews? I’m in love. And best of all…no micro transactions!!! Just buy and play…wish there were more games like this. Knocked it out of the park.

Loads of Fun!
I’m having a ton of fun with this game! The animations and gameplay loop is super super satisfying. My only complaint is that some of the controls give me a little trouble, being kinda finicky. I also wish there was an intermediate camera zoom option, but these are small nitpicks on an otherwise great game! :)

Quality of life improvements needed
I posted my previous complaint on the Discord. I have a new one, maybe this game needs a rating and comment section in game to vote for good or bad maps. Some maps are just dysfunctional troll maps. Also, is it possible to increase the difficulty of AI?

Awesome game - but bugs?
Love the game, scrolling around is a bit wonky but fine.
Have a bug or something. Does not load up anymore. Chucklefish and robotality logos pop up then just a black screen. Sometimes it says waiting for cloud but never loads. Played fine for about a week, but not working for me anymore.

Love this game
It perfectly scratches that Advance Wars itch, and the story and characterisation is fun too.
Worst tutorial
Not quite sure what they were thinking. Doesn’t teach u the controls and starts the game off by try to teach a dumb mechanic that locks u out of the game

Excellent if you’re ready
What a great addition to the iOS turn based games being not only a tribute but a fun learning curve, so many options and so many ways of obtaining victory. Games like this are good for the phone when you have some down time and want to play campaign or create your own and customize your ability to enjoy it. It’s a bit challenging but that’s the point, no excess of grinding just learning how the units can come together. Very well done I can’t wait to keep playing and seeing what updates may come!
