Turns out this is not a Washington Lotto scanner, the scanner does not even work. This is just another app specifically designed to violate your privacy by tracking you and collecting all your private data from your phone while disguised as a Lotto app that does not work to scan anything. SCAM
Will not scan barcode
Will not scan barcode in any light condition or distance from barcode. Useless app.
Account
It won’t even let me log in. It’s lets me create account but get an error every time I try and log in.
Ticket Scanner Is Garbage
Ticket scanner never works on first try. Force close the app then reopen and it works. Wastes a lot of time.
Do Better
Glitchy is the polite way to describe it. I had to open the app several times for the scanner to work. The latest issue was security certificates, so I had to delete the app and reload. Sometimes I have the impression that the server at Olympia still runs on a Microsoft Vista platform.
Enhancements? Not on my app!
I have been using this app for years. I think it has just gone downhill. It takes forever just to check a ticket where it used to be just seconds. Please fix this!

this app never seems to work for me always is loading or searching or running, but never provides what I’m wanting to do, and then it times out.
Buggy, broken TLS
Transit Layer Security is what apps use to securely transmit data. This app doesn’t have TLS that works, so scanning the barcode on the ticket also doesn’t work.
Always a bridesmaid
This app works 98% of the time. I believe when it’s not working is during draws, and or updates.
Scanner doesn’t work still
Apple IPhone 16 pro max and scanner doesn’t work still as of 3/14/2026 ☠️ doesn’t even take the picture just readjust the screen then restarts…
Garbage
Terrible app that you can’t sign into but can sign in online. Do not download.
Scanner is great login is broken.
Unable to login. Keeps making me send a password update link. Useless at this point.
APP NOT WORKING
This app isn’t working every time I try to put in my password. It says authentication unsuccessful. Every time. This app needs to be fixed ASAP. It’s so annoying. It works on web browser but not the app.

My original review slammed the app for its lack of consistent scanning capabilities. Updates have occurred to the app and I happy to report it works great. Thanks for updating the scanning engine.

I almost didn't get this because of the low star rating but whatever update they did must've fixed the scanner because I've used it several times in the past few weeks and it works just fine.

Won’t ever scan my tix. I’ve downloaded and updated many times. Pretty useless app at the moment.

Always glitching, I am not old and okay with most technology and it is terrible. I’m tired of it failing, stuck on loading, messing up, and all around being a garbage app. With all the money they make they could at least fix the bugs
