Great alternative

Great alternative for listening to SoundCloud while on the go - I use it on outdoor workouts when I only take my watch with me.

I had some issues where it would lose my login info and require reauthentication but these seem resolved now. Dev is very responsive.

Sorry, that is frustrating, especially during a workout. Version 2.3.0 includes fixes for login/session reliability, so please update and reconnect once from the phone or watch. After that, WatchCloud should be more reliable when you head out without your phone. If it still asks you to sign in repeatedly, please contact me through support.

Login issue

Why most times I need to re login again on apple watch ???

Sorry about this. The latest update includes fixes for cases where WatchCloud could ask you to sign in again more often than expected. Please update to version 2.3.0 and try reconnecting once. If it still happens after that, contact me through the support link so I can look into it.

Keeps losing login info

For the 3rd time in a week, I went to open the app while on an outdoor workout and it asked me again to log in from my phone - which is impossible to do from the tiny browser. I don’t bring my phone on workouts and that’s the whole point of me needing this app. So for my use case, it’s not reliable.

Stopped working

Stopped working last week or so! Needs iPhone in close proximity otherwise it stops and looks for the phone with a small red phone symbol. Was working fine pre that!

WatchCloud streams from SoundCloud, so the watch still needs an internet connection through Wi‑Fi or cellular when your phone is not nearby. If the watch has no connection, it may look for the phone instead. If you do have Wi‑Fi or cellular available and it still stops working, please contact me through support so I can help troubleshoot.
