About

Water Tracker for Dummies is a fast, offline water routine tracker for iPhone and iPad. Tap a drink size, log a custom amount, or choose from a bundled beverage catalog, then watch today's total, goal progress, weekly history, and long-term trends update instantly. Version 1.4.2 adds Routine Coach, a practical planning card that compares today's logged amount with the expected pace across your wake window. It labels the day as ahead, steady, behind, or complete and suggests the next practical sip window from your remaining ounces and reminder schedule. The app also includes past-day entry for missed drinks, a catch-up advisor, on-device reminders, a goal calculator with transparent sources, beverage hydration index estimates, charts, all-time insights, color notes for personal journaling, export, import, and oz/mL/cups display modes. No account, no ads, no analytics, no cloud sync. Records stay on the device unless the user exports them. Water Tracker for Dummies provides general wellness information only. It does not diagnose, treat, monitor, or replace qualified guidance.

What's New in Water Tracker for Dummies

1.4.2

June 29, 2026

**Past-Day Entry** — Forgot to log a drink yesterday? Now you can. Open any day in the Last 7 Days list and tap "Add a missed drink" (or the + button in the toolbar) to retroactively log a quick-tap size, a custom water amount, or any catalog beverage. The day's total and hydration index both update instantly. **Catch-Up Advisor** — When you're behind pace with time left before your sleep window, a new card appears below today's total. It shows exactly how many ounces remain, how many sips of ~8 oz to space out, and how often — so you can still hit your goal without guessing. **Consecutive Goal Weeks** — All-Time Insights now shows how many full calendar weeks in a row your daily average met or beat your goal, alongside your existing day streak and personal bests.
