App constantly updating, crashing, and signing you out. Essentially worthless.
App doesn’t work for prepayment
I have tried deleting the app deleting my account recreating a whole new account. The app physically does not let you order ahead. Absolutely annoying and would not recommend.
live notifications!!
great app but there’s only one issue with it—the live notifications don’t go away unless you uninstall the app, if you make a mobile order and allow the live notifs then it’ll stay even when you got your order. other than that, i love it!!
Extremely disappointing experience with a Wawa app order
I placed an order through the Wawa app on August 11 and spent roughly $90, including about $60 worth of sandwiches for my family. When my order was delivered, I opened the bag and realized that none of the sandwiches I ordered were included.
I contacted DoorDash support because they were handling the delivery, and I also went directly to the Wawa store to find out what happened. The Wawa employees told me that they had run out of the sandwiches and had informed the DoorDash delivery driver that they were unavailable. However, the driver still delivered the incomplete order without the sandwiches.
The biggest issue is that I paid around $60 for food I never received, and DoorDash did not process my refund.
I understand that restaurants can run out of items, but there needs to be better communication between Wawa, the Wawa app, the store, and the delivery service. If the sandwiches were unavailable, the order should have been updated appropriately and I should not have been charged for food I never received.
This was a very frustrating experience, especially after spending nearly $90 on the order. I would really appreciate someone from Wawa looking into what happened with my August 11 order and responding to me about how this can be resolved.

Great food. Several problems with the app!
The food is awesome! I love how customizable the menu is! However, the app sucks! The favorites function does not work for the locations. And worse!!! There have been several times I will place an order and the app will say the order has gone through. But then I will pull up to the WaWa and the people there say the order failed! I do not have time to redo the entire order then wait for them to make it! Either make it so the app will tell me immediately or shortly after placing the order when it fails! That way I can immediately redo the order before I get there!

App has been down for months now. Was great when it worked but I’m not sure why they haven’t fixed it.
I love Wawa, hate the app.
The app constantly logs you out randomly, which causes a lot of stress when you’re in line at Wawa and there’s no WiFi, so you can’t log in. Also, points expire. They don’t tell you this until it’s basically too late.
Cant use the app
It keeps giving an error that im using a vpn even though im not. This is also happening on my partners phone who also doesnt use a vpn. Fix this.
Rewards
App is no good I made a purchase 5 days ago and still haven’t received my earned rewards but on the app it says that rewards are given within 24 hours I think 5 days is well over 24 hours and it’s not the first time that this wawa app has done this to me they lie to get you to spend your money and then they don’t give you any rewards

How come this app doesn’t have a dark feature like most apps at this point? That’s probably my biggest complaint about this app other than the bandwidth versus people using the app.
Worst app to download
I’ve never had to verify my age nor scan my id in any gas app.
I tried to download your app. Apparently the question on products for over 18 years old would not allow me to go further. I scanned my id on both sides and it still wasn’t even able to verify my age. Then an additional email confirmation. Truthfully I don’t care about the products more than the gas discount. But seriously make this process easier.

App sucks
This app will not let you accrue fuel points by using your credit card at the pump. What’s the point of this stupid app then? What a complete waste of time
Payment methods
How is it I can never add a payment method, yet every time I go to use the app at the pump it REPEATEDLY tries (and fails) to charge whatever card was originally in my app? It’s been YEARS that this has been an issue and now fix. Do better.
Door dash feature
The app is good for the most part, but the door dash feature is terribly flawed. First, you can’t just cancel your order on the app like normal. You have to physically call a support line each and every time you want to cancel, which can sometime take over half an hour to reach an agent at peak times. Also, stores apparently have a 1 hour policy, meaning if your order is waiting for an hour or more, they will just trash it and not notify you of doing so. Instead, you’ll have to wait for someone to attempt to pick up your order to find this out, which is a fantastic way to waste your time as well as your dashers time and money. If they are not going to fix these glaring issues, they should at least add a feature that allows you to see how many dashers are within a certain radius of you. This will at least give you an idea of whether or not you’ll actually get your order. Please fix this Wawa.

Super slow, if it decides to open at all. Wasn't always like this. What happened??
I have to try to get it to open it as I'm leaving the house. Sometimes it will open by the time I get to the store (5 minutes away by car), but most times I just see a red Wally the Wawa goose flapping his wings on a white background...flapping his wings but not going anywhere! 🙄🙄🙄

Always get a “pump offline” error when attempting to use my points for gas. Very irritating
