Went downhill after working with Evri
Too Short return policy
I ordered a massive sofa, but shortly after it arrived I was travelling for a few months. When I returned and actually had the chance to use it properly, we realised that the sofa was far too hard and also much too large for our space.
Unfortunately, the return policy is only 30 days. I contacted customer service to explain the situation, but they were unable to offer any solution because the return period had passed. There was no option to exchange it for a different sofa either.
For such a big and expensive purchase, I feel a 30-day return window is simply too short, especially when there is no exchange option or flexibility for individual circumstances. I’m now stuck with a huge sofa that doesn’t work for us, with no further support or alternative offered.
I would strongly recommend checking the return and exchange policy very carefully before making any large purchase.
Bad customer service experience
Why did I try this again?
Response to the response: That’s what i did. It didn’t work the first time. Thankfully, FedEx driver called me to ask what apartment number

Now if we talk about quality. Either you get poor quality products or faulty products. Not a single product I bought has been of satisfactory. Return process is another nightmare.

Fraud and worst customer service
I returned an item and, during the refund process, I was given two refund options: store credit or a refund to my original payment method. I chose store credit specifically because I was told/understood that doing so would avoid the shipping deduction. If the shipping charge was going to be applied regardless, that should have been clearly disclosed before I made the refund decision.
When I contacted customer service to explain this, the agent mentioned that shipping cost will never be reduced if I selected store credit. When I asked him to check the details, instead of addressing the issue, the representative simply repeated the same statement that the shipping fee was “correctly applied according to our policy.”
That is not a satisfactory resolution.
I specifically asked for the shipping cost to be returned and even requested escalation to a senior representative, but I received no response at all.
The most frustrating part is that I was given choices during the refund process, made my decision based on those choices, and then Wayfair effectively changed the outcome afterward.
This experience has seriously damaged my trust in Wayfair. Customer service should be about resolving legitimate customer concerns, not repeatedly quoting policy without addressing what actually happened.
Very poor communication, very poor customer service, and a very disappointing experience. I would think twice before purchasing from Wayfair again.
