Very helpful

Very helpful app to see your finances in one place at a glance

Not really up to par

I tried the app for about four days, although there are some good things I liked Unfortunately there were more things I didn’t like so I ultimately deleted my account and ended my free trial. Pricing was a big factor, the things I find important are geographical allocation of my assets. And that cost $100 extra per year. I’m sorry but that’s just a little bit too pricey when I can just do a spreadsheet and get the same information and save $100. The other thing was three of my accounts just would not link up no matter what I did so if my three important accounts won’t link up, then there’s no point in continuing with this Product. The other issue I had was having to find tune all of the transactions and allocating them to the correct designated folder.. That was very frustrating when you only have a small little box to scroll through.

Helps me track my finances

Wealthica is an excellent tool for keeping all my finances organized in one place. It connects my investment and bank accounts seamlessly, giving me a clear, real-time view of my net worth without any manual work. Overall, it has made managing my money much easier and more efficient. A must-have app for anyone serious about tracking their finances.

Impossible to Figure Out

This is an impossible, frustrating program, you can’t use free trial without paying which I did. I somehow added the same brokerage 4x but could never figure out how to add the brokerage to the group. I tried YouTube videos and their FAQ’s, no help anywhere. If they call me (I left my number through their message bot, I would be happy to try again) but I can’t waste hours on a non-user friendly program.

Terrible

Tried out for a few minutes. Sign up confirmation lost the keyboard. Then, after manually creating an account, could not add a holding to it. What the heck is everyone else seeing?

Stopped working

Mobile app seems to have stopped working

Doesn’t work anymore

Was working well for a few years but the last month or so it’s just a black screen after login.

Feels very unfinished

Wasn’t impressed with this app, it felt very raw and unfinished. Not a lot of features and unattractive UI. Pro plans are expensive compared to something much more polished and feature robust like blossom. I got errors connecting to Wealthsimple. I cancelled my trial after the first day.

Fantastic idea, rough around the edges

We need this app to work well. Syncing is inconsistent and support response can be slow. Good views of assets, group filtering an important feature.

Complex interface and over priced products

Title says it all.

Horrible support

I keep contacting support regarding an issue, and three months later, nothing has been resolved. Looks like they just have one guy replying back to everyone and clearly he doesn’t care. I will not be renewing my subscription.

Frustrated

When all is working and syncing the app is good, but it’s been 2 yrs I have never had a complete satisfaction due to sync issues. I get it te guys are working on it but the wait is too long.

Wealthica Holds Promise, But Has Lots of Bugs

I really like the Wealthica app, if only it had been given proper testing before it was launched.

First off the tech support is bad, they take days to address the issues and don't give very thorough information. Their help files are useless. Honestly, Google Gemini has helped me more that their tech support people have. They have no phone support. Which is disgraceful for a very expensive financial app.

Here are just a few of the issues I have encountered:
Syncing
You need to log into all your finance accounts externally of the Wealthica app before you can sync the accounts in the Wealthica app or you will get errors.

Add Categories and Folders Page
- The names can't be sorted alphabetically which makes consistency a challenge.

Edit Transaction Page
- Sometimes it won't let you select a category name. No error message it just refuses to accept your click.
- You can't clear category names you have deleted in the Categories interface from the Category drop-downs on the Edit Transaction page. This makes for tons of inconsistencies and errors.
- If you have added a category to a folder you can't read the category name in the dropdown. This is because the folder name is inserted before the category name in the Category dropdown. Unfortunately the dropdown is not long enough, so you can't read the category name.

Google Sheets Exporting
- It doesn't work, nothing happens. They told me to close the app and open it again. I closed both Wealthica and Google Sheets and it still didn't work. I'm still waiting for a solution.

Transaction Rules
- What a mess usability wise. Every rule is formulated based on filtering. But the rules don't save the filters that were used to construct them. So every time you want to make a change you have to set it up again.
- Plus every time you select any field in the Filter section the whole Filter section disappears. So it's very time consuming to set up the rules.
- I have asked for help in deleting transaction rules. I am still waiting for help, this was sent to them on October 22nd.

Importing From Banks
- For some reason it didn't import all of my October transactions. Instead for saying we will find out why. They told me to manually add them, kind of defeats the purpose of the app.

I'm giving them 48 hours to give me some help and then I'm deleting it and cancelling my subscription. I hate to be so negative about a Canadian company, it's a great product but they need to pay attention to their users and do more usability testing before releases.

I am on a MacBook Air 2025 M4, 24 GB of ram and running Tahoe.

Not worth it - poorly designed

1) The app is poorly designed and glitchy.
2) Even the most basic function of total NW is inaccurate. All my accounts were listed, the NW total was different compared to the sum of the accounts (no, I had no filters on it).
3) Cannot recognize covered calls/puts.
4) Account linking was a nightmare - had errors multiple times and wait times of 2-5mins.
5) Credit card was categorized as “Investment” and the value was being shown as a positive number.
6) App in general is slow and buggy.
7) Cannot disable automatic sync from app, only from website (it’s not hard to code that, come on).
Etc…

I don’t understand why someone would pay for this when there are easier and free options.

Eric

I really like using Wealthica. It’s help me to follow my finance and my investments.

Doesn’t work anymore, and support doesn’t respond

Wealthica was great for a while and allowed me to see all my investments across different accounts. They struggle with keeping their connectors functioning, and now the connector I used for my largest account hasn’t worked for 8 months.

When I ask support about a status for resolution, they no longer respond. I was a paying customer but it’s now a waste because the app doesn’t function. Don’t sign up for a payed account with this app.

Not worth the $.

Connectivity is the most frustrating part. Almost every connection doesn’t refresh and requires a manual refresh and 2FA. Sometimes the connection works sometimes you just get error messages.
To the Wealthica team… you guys need to do better. Irrespective of why the connections don’t always work… the user experience is terrible.

Has potential

I’ve got most of my investment accounts and details running through it, but connections to a few of them have been down indefinitely with no communicated timeframe to resolution, and yet I still pay full price. Scotia and Canada life are the spotty connections for those evaluating.
