Drain your battery
Wow what a shocker! This app will drain your battery in the background!
Legacy version was better
I’ve upgraded from an iPhone XS to 17 Pro, and have realised the old Weatherzone+ is no longer supported on newer iOS versions. In addition, the paid version is subscription, and is no longer a one-time payment.
The new layout requires more scrolling. Even with ads removed it’s not as clean an experience.
It’s clear that the UX design intentionally prioritises a sub-par experience to incentivise users to subscribe.
If the UI was actually improved, this could be a defendable decision.
It’s an unfortunate disappointment. Maybe things might shift back to a user-first experience…
But for now, I’d recommend looking elsewhere

App Needs Updating
This app is very glitchy now and hasn’t worked properly ever since the last IOS update. Please fix your app.
Faulty and they do not fix!
As per usual their response is to blame the user not their app. Do better. I’m clearly not the only person having these issues if you read reviews. I use to love this app however now takes too long to load if it loads at al. Then closes itself.

Battery Drain
Ever since the last update my phone says it’s using 32% of my battery in the background… not great. Hopefully fixed soon

Good layout but accuracy is just so-so
I like the layout but the accuracy is just so-so—to the point you cannot rely on the forecast and you have to use other apps to double check. Also, I can’t understand why the iPad app does not show the hour-by-hour Forecast Scroller which the iPhone app has… It is the most useful part of the iPhone app for daily use. I shall NOT renew my subscription…
