Awesome App for Screenplays

This app simply rocks. It elegantly performs as advertised, taking you off the screenwriter’s Path to Insanity — that is, pinching/scrolling/zooming PDFs in perpetuity — and allows you to read scripts on your iPhone! Weekend Read is a game changer.

Perfect for reading and editing

I heard about this on scriptnotes. It’s incredibly useful for reading on the go. Plus, it helps give me a new perspective on my own writing . You get so used to the shape of your script on the page that seeing it in a different format really helps me focus on the language itself. Helps my brain finally pick up on all those little errors/typos I’ve read over 1000 times on autopilot.

Broken on ipad

Uploaded a pdf and the app broke the pages up randomly and deleted text. Wouldn’t be an issue if the text formatting button worked but it doesn’t open fully so I can’t see any of the settings.

In my opinion it’s unethical for this to be advertised on script notes and for them to be asking money but not fixing app breaking issues. Sure maybe it works on iPhone but come on.
