They still your money

It asks for an update to version 3.13 very soon after paying. Once you click on the update button and brings you to the app store, the update is nowhere to be found.

Hi, I'm sorry about this. A bug in version 3.13 showed an update prompt that couldn't be completed, and it locked out paying users. It's fixed now, and your purchase is fully active. Please update the app, and if anything still looks wrong, email me at support@weightsync.app and I'll sort it out personally.

No longer works

Worked great updating everything one time payment however now it says needs an update to use, brongs to store no update. Essentially took my money then stopped after a few weeks

Sure, something else to pay for

Pay for an app that’s going to link your outdated bathroom Scale to iOS, which clearly is leaps and bounds above and better than android but this application gives you a free trial right up to the point where you need to pay for a service to link your Scale think about how silly that is I guess if you’re rich and you don’t care and you wanna pay for 30 different applications but think about the cost and what it’s actually doing if you really think about it now I’m using talk to type so pardon my grammar and my punctuation because I don’t care enough to go back incorrect it but then again I am leaving a one star review so waste your time and your money if you want to that’s all I gotta say goodbye

Hi, and thanks for taking the time to leave feedback. I think there may be a misunderstanding about what WeightSync does, so let me clarify. The app doesn't connect to your scale. It reads the weight that's already in Apple Health (whatever put it there, including your scale's own app) and automatically syncs it to Strava, so your performance metrics like W/kg and calorie estimates stay accurate without manual entry. The free trial lets you test the full experience before deciding, and there's also manual weight entry available. If you don't find that worth a subscription, that's completely fair and no hard feelings. If you ever want to give it another look or have questions about what it actually does, I'm happy to help at support@weightsync.app.
