Misses The Mark

Was looking for a solution to pull in weight tracked on my Apple Health account to Garmin. This worked perfectly to quickly sync historical weight data. However, it advertises it can automatically do it moving forward. In my mind that means I step in my scale which tracks to Apple Health. The. This app sees the weight and pushes right away into Garmin. This is not the case. You must open the WeightSyncr app and let it sit for awhile before it pushed the weight to Garmin. So in theory it works but my wish here is it did it without the need to open the app, because there is no difference in opening this versus opening the Garmin app and plugging it in. If it worked without the need for the app to be open I’d subscribe to the subscription in a heart beat.

Response from developer

Thanks for the honest feedback. Auto sync is designed to work in the background, and it used to run very reliably without needing to open the app. In recent iOS updates, Apple changed how background processing behaves, and it has become less consistent. Avoiding force closing the app and opening it occasionally can help improve the chances that the sync runs automatically. I’m actively working on finding a way to make auto sync more reliable again within Apple’s current system limits.

Works

Seems to work fine.

Good!!!

Is it possible to add body fat percentage export?

It just works.

It’s simple. Does what it says on the tin and does it quickly, easily, and consistently. I wouldn’t want or need any other features. It’s great.
