No idea what’s going on with the job market lately. I had hope for this app, but despite having 15 years of experience and applying for roles I could do blindfolded, I’m just being rejected from all of them. So I’m a bit sceptical of the profile that welcome to the jungle are sending over as it’s clearly not working. I know my profile isn’t being looked at because my portfolio is showing no tracker hits so it looks like all of these applications are just going straight in the bin! Disappointing.
Unfortunately there’s no way to flag when you’ve been rejected in the app other than removing them.

onboarding way too long
broken onboarding on website cant continue. app 15 pages and then I close it. just show the jobs.
Bad app
I have used this app since it was Otta. Never got one interview, 1000 applications, I have talked to employees about something I am doing wrong no help was offered. Save your time and don’t install it.
Broken App
90% of the jobs they advertise have a required field that is ‘LinkedIn Profile’, but you cannot enter your link without getting an error message. Meaning you cannot apply for almost every job you’ll see. Garbage

Honestly find a Human recruiter. This is yet another pointless waste of time that you skills spend elsewhere.

Suggested feature
I noticed on the app there isn’t an option to report if the job listing is non functional or no longer listed.
Can’t even create an account.
Fill out the questions, click to create an account with Google. Error. Failing on 2 browsers and the app.

First ever app review
I have never cared enough to review an app before, but I feel like Welcome to the Jungle deserves it. I’m kind of upset that I didn’t find it sooner, but now that I have it, I’ll never go back to any other sites or apps.
This one truly tailors the results to you and your preferences while also helping you to improve your resume by editing the wording and making you more marketable. It also automatically hides your profile from your current employer, which I really appreciate.
I was so sick of endlessly scrolling through irrelevant job posts that didn’t meet my criteria, especially salary expectations, but Welcome to the Jungle will filter out jobs that don’t meet your standards or pay less than you require.
Also the fact that it’s full of vetted, quality companies and not just a bunch of spam/scam job posts is the best! Oh and the app and its services are FREEEE!

IPad App Would Be Grrrreat!
Being able to search for jobs, work on my resume, or edit my cover letter on my iPad rather than on my phone. Please make an iPad app!
Make companies disclose salaries
Most jobs now haven’t got salaries listed. Waste of time. Why would I spend hours on a job application to find out the salary is poor? Otta always had the salary disclosed. Why has that changed?
One of the few job boards that consistently got me interviews!
I’m so grateful to Welcome to the Jungle for being such an awesome tool during my job search this year! I was laid off and it took me a year to find a new role due to this tough job market! WTTJ was one of the job boards that actually matched me with jobs that fit all my criteria and 90% of my interviews I received were thru companies I found through WTTJ. Ultimately received an offer for an awesome company that I found through WTTJ and I’m very grateful! Thank you!

Amazing job board
Love how organized the job postings are and how tailored and relevant they are to me. Got an offer via welcome to the jungle and highly recommend it.
Changed since acquired
I've noticed that since Otta was acquired by WTTJ, I've been getting a LOT less responses and interviews from this app. I found my last job using Otta and recommended it to all. It's also more difficult to apply for roles now, I believe you used to be able to do it in-app. A bit disappointed as I was hoping for the same results I had using Otta a year and a half ago.

Disconnect between web and app
There’s a total disconnect between the web experience and the mobile app experience.
I completely filled out the profile on the web but when I log into the mobile app, my profile is blank. And when I save a job on the mobile app it doesn’t appear on the web. At first, I was going to chalk it up to a time delay in information syncing, but it’s been days, so apparently it’s just buggy as all hell…

Can’t get the basics right
In general the app is good for job searching, however, they get some of the basics wrong. E.g., they advertised a job for a ‘product manager’ but once I had written a cv and cover letter and applied, the company emailed saying it was for a product design role, meaning it was all a waste of time!
App freezes constantly
Love this app when it works, freezes up randomly all the time now. If you select a job from the email, it opens the app but then freezes
Unbelievable amount of bugs
Online website site is not connected to app!! I made account online then it wasn’t recognizing me on the app! I made whole new account online the app, and then it stuck on the first page! Deleted the account and now trying to make new account but it freezes at the first page ( important things in new role) !!!

Can no longer log in
Ever since Otta got bought out, I can’t use the app using my email. Just a never ending log in page. Ended up deleting it.
Cannot login to the app
Since the name change, I haven’t been able to login to the app at all. Whenever I try, the page to login never loads. I’ve tried opening the login page with chrome, but that always gives me a generic error. Guess the app is useless until this is fixed
