Fun game.

Great game to play with large groups, but is really only fun to play with 5 up players, though nothing that they can do

UI Compatibility Issues

On my IPad 9 when playing with words that are too long they overlap, it would be great if you could add a setting that could adjust the UI size, or just adjust it for certain devices. It was especially bad using the Fortune Teller as on longer phrases the boxes went off the bottom of the screen.

Word font size needs fixing

Generally a great app for the game but has one big issue causing a problem for playability. The font size when viewing the magic word is way too small. We typically use this on a phone, and if sitting further away from the middle of the table, some people struggle to read the word, essentially breaking the gameplay. Why not make the font as large as possible and use the full screen?

Fun twist on werewolf

This is my friend group’s favorite game to play currently. I do have one suggestion. It is my opinion that there’s a flaw in the game, and it occurs when the doppelgänger copies the werewolf role and the village does not guess the secret word. When this happens, the app tells the village to find the werewolves OR the doppelgänger, which essentially exposes that they were evil that round. I would suggest removing the doppelgänger from the list of evil players during the role guessing phase. Doing so would open the opportunity for an evil doppelgänger to behave as though they copied a village player, like a seer, and make it less easy for the village to guess the evil team. Otherwise, the village always knows the doppelgänger picked an evil player’s card and it makes it easier for them to guess. At the very least, the option to toggle this as a setting would be greatly appreciated. Currently as a workaround, we just tell the doppelgänger to select the villager role even if they flip a werewolf card at the beginning so they don’t get exposed as evil during the role guessing phase.

Useless on iPad

On iPad it is impossible to select from all roles during game setup for 20 players. Only 6 roles are visible with the tops of others just visible but not discernible. Useless.

LOVE IT!!!

I bought the game a few months but just be decided to leave a review now. The game is absolutely great and the app works just fine. This game is totally worth your money! Can't wait to see more from Bezier!!!

Stuck on speedwords mode

We love one night ultimate werewolf, so we were super excited about this game. It seems fun, but the app will only play in speedwords mode. We’ve clicked and unclicked the stopwatch, and changed the time in settings, but it always plays in speedwords mode. So, every game the werewolf has to give a letter clue and we always only get 2 minutes to play. Kind of bummed.

App is awful on iPadPro

BUYER BEWARE

I bought this game after having a blast playing it with family only to find that app has zero sound on my iPad Pro.

It also doesn’t let you scroll through the built in lists of word, nor select them.

I have emailed the company, but got an auto response saying that I shouldn’t expect a response for 7-10 business days. I will update this review once there is a fix, but for now, the game is worthless without a functional app.

Deluxe edition issues

When in the Deluxe mode the app will always go into the Speedwords game even though I have selected the base game, it also ignored my custom list in favour of the build in list. Very disappointed.

Chinese language can’t displayed correctly

The previous versions are all good. But after the recent update, all Chinese words are shown as a square. Please fix it.

Ideal Narrator App, and then some!

First off, having an app as a narrator for a mafia-style social deduction game will forever be Bezier's legacy. They really nailed it. This game is a great example of it. Not only is the voice easy to understand, but the on-screen inputs and displays are incredibly effective during gameplay.

That right there is perfect for a 5-star review, but then there's more! The difficulty settings, custom and community lists, even options like allowing proper nouns or not, truly makes this game a perfect fit for any game night.

This game is always a hit, and the app is essential for its succes.

Great App

Amazing app we don’t have werewords but we use one night cards instead so play it with different cards

Favorite game

This is my favorite game and I’ve made everyone play it with me all year. The only thing that I would change is to add the word to the top and bottom as well as the game. It can be pretty hard for everyone to be able to read.

Our go-to version of werewolf! App is awesome!

We play this with all our friends! Our absolute favourite version of werewolf because no personalities dominate the game like in all other versions. And it’s quick and snappy and you need to use your brain instead of just obsessing over who you think is the werewolf and saying it loudly and repeatedly as some are prone to do.

Make sure yours works before you open the physical game

No matter what options I select, it won’t play though. It freezes at “everyone close your eyes”. Stinks because I already paid for and opened the physical game before I tried. Make sure your app works before you can’t return the game.

Get the old voice back!

I do love this app, but we really don’t like the new voice that came with the recent update. Adding a choice option would be GREAT!

Awesome game, slight usability issue

Love this game. Picked up the deluxe version at GenCon, but we tried to play and it took us quite a while to figure out that there were multiple versions of the game to choose from on the settings page.

It would’ve been helpful to have us pick which version of the game we were playing at the start, which would’ve helped alleviate some frustration.

Also, when choosing more players, we didn’t realize when a role was added/removed, which caused some confusion.

Overall, awesome game and can’t wait to see more from bezier!

Great App for a Great Game

The app works perfectly for me and does what it needs to do, even on my iPad that has a very out-of-date version of iOS on it. The most-recent update fixed the community lists for me, so that's good. My only complaint, and what would knock the review down to 4.5 stars if I could give half stars, is that the new announcer sounds pretty boring to me and the old announcer was better. I wish there were multiple announcers to choose between, like at least the option to change between a male or female voice.

Update broken!

The new update is broken on my iPhone 6s+. When I open the app it just stays on a screen that has the game logo and I can’t do anything.

Great game

Great game. Adds extra strategy to Werewolf.
