I like the Bank I like the app, but if they can’t fix this stupid pop-up window that keeps popping up every time I turn on the app and after I make a transaction to tell me to rate them. If they need me to rate them every single time I use the app they’re very insecure. And it waste my time and I’m sick of looking at it.

Meh...great employees though
I've reached the end of the line with WCU. Sad as one of their branches is very convenient to my house. But I can't deal with them anymore. The good: THE EMPLOYEES! WCU hires wonderful people, and they're all friendly, professional, and helpful. But that's where the good ends. My biggest gripe: there's no 24/7 debit card support! I was traveling across the country once, and my card started getting declined on a weekend. Plenty of money in my account. Turns out it was a fraud alert. Which I appreciate. But there's no way to get answers when the bank is closed. So I had to wait a couple hours before the fraud alert phone call came in and I became aware of what was going on. Terrible customer support. On top of that the app sucks, mobile deposit is a nightmare to get to work, and generally WCU is like doing business with a 1970s bank except you don't get a toaster.

Zelle doesn’t work
I use Zelle a lot but when I try to use it though the app the whole app crashes. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling and made sure everything is updated and still no go. The second I click send money with Zelle in the app the whole thing just shuts down and takes me back to my Home Screen of my phone. Would be good if this was fixed.

Notifications
(Without even nothing lunching into a frenzy about the glitches and problems of this app which nobody will have time to read because that's how poorly it is developed and set up for users......) I have notifications TURNED OFF. There is only an option for push notifications, nothing for in-app. (I tried turning on push to see if I could disable what I never turned on to begin with, and it was all already off.) I opened my account on Friday and now Sunday morning I just woke up with a big red number 2 at the bottom of my screen and I've tried EVERYTHING. I cannot close or delete them. I cannot make the red dot and 2 go away. It is well documented that people with OCD like myself have severe issues when unable to clear notifications on their cellular devices. Those who do not understand this urge will laugh but it is detrimental to the mental health of those of us who notice such things. I am going to call immediately tomorrow and if there is no quick and permanent solution given to me by staff I will be closing my bank account and finding another institution BECAUSE OF NOTIFICATIONS??? This should be an immediate non-issue, not my biggest issue. My first notification came 20 hours after I had already performed an action- I transferred money from my savings into my checking because I balanced my bills wrong and needed a bit more- the notification was explaining to me how to do this action despite already having performed it. Then the second notification was about college kids being able to get a grant and the window closing for the application. I AM NOT A COLLEGE KID. Both of these were 100% irrelevant to me and NOW I CANNOT GET THEM TO GO AWAY. This is so absolutely unacceptable. I have SCOURED the app. Even if I am somehow missing a buried setting, NOT BEING HARASSED BY YOUR BANK WITH ENDLESS NOTIFICATIONS THAT I HAVE DISABLED AND CANNOT DELETE IS AN EGREGIOUS ERROR FOR WESTCONSIN. You are a bank, not Zuckerberg. You are not here to ruin my life you are here and being PAID to simplify it. Absolutely shame on you, Westconsin. Let your customers DECIDE HOW THEY ARE CONTACTED ON THEIR OWN PERSONAL DEVICES.

I’ve loved this place since I got my account a year or so ago. I used RCU and they just kept having scammers and I was losing money constantly because they aren’t secure. WESTconsin also shows charges from when I first got the acct which I didn’t have with my last bank

Not only are pending transactions and posted transactions now mashed together. But you can’t get rid of the stupid notifications.
Terrible user experience
The new user experience is just as terrible as the last version. It’s so difficult and unintuitive to navigate. And, it restricts greatly paying your Westconsin Visa from an outside account so now I need to go back to old school and set up payment via bill pay to avoid interest accruing. It’s 2025. This isn’t rocket science. There are a million other banking apps you could learn from. It shouldn’t be this bad. I’m disappointed. I’ve had an account with you since I was a kid.
