Does not accurately read the colour at all!!
Good for colorblind, okay for normal people
(My issue was resolved) I am red-green colorblind and have struggled determining colors even after getting CVD lenses for my glasses. This app is a great help for me when no one with normal vision is around, however the colors are more of a ballpark and some patterns can confuse it as it averages colors from a square. This is especially bad with TV or computer screens. It also uses odd words for colors like ātomatoā and āburnt siennaā very often.

This app has healed.
I used to use this a lot mainly for Crayola, I paid for it. But then it was taken away and locked behind a subscription. I was enraged, furious if you will. Recently I have noticedā¦ CRAYOLA IS FREE! This app is healing! Thank you very much for making the one thing I used it for, and actually paid a one time payment for a long time ago, available free again! Also the web app doesnāt work you should probably look into thatā¦ Also please bring back the ability to see more similar colors and how similar (in %) they are. Thanks again!

Thanks for the review. Give the default "What color" library a try for more common color names

Not what I hoped for
I hoped it would help me identify the color of socks, pants, etc. (especially between black and navy). Unfortunately it canāt tell any better than I can. Mostly it says grey.
Good enough for most people
Iām not a color expert and donāt need super accurate hues and such. If I was I wouldnāt be using a free app on my phone anyway. So just know that this will get you what you need and itās an app not a professional tool. Works great. Good job devs. Helped settle some arguments with the SO.

They Changed
The app used to be completely free to use. They updated it about a month ago and now you have to pay to use half of the features they had before.

Good idea, stopped working
Used a few times, but when it mattered I just got the spinning thinking wheel. Closed and re-opened, tried several colors. Will be great app when reliable!

This App is what I was hoping for just wish I had thought to look for it earlier - I am colorblind n hate asking someone what color something is when shopping etc - so thanks a bunch for putting it out there really appreciate it - Iām excited abt it ā¦ Blessings

This app is great, but I have an idea that would make it the best app for finding the color of something. That idea is adding a Lego color library. A Lego color library would be extremely great, because imagine the possibilities! And imagine the possibilities I did. And here are some of the possibilities written as sentences, written as if the Lego color library was just added today:
āFinally, we can now make Lego builds of real objects with coloring as accurate as possible!ā

this app is terrible! I tested many colors and it did not give me any of the right ones I even tested black and it said it was not black. That is why I gave it one star.
great app, one problem (did not pay for anything)
this app is wonderful because you can just take a picture and it doesn't take up storage, it just tells you what color it is, the hex code, etc. sometimes the color names are inaccurate if you're doing the simple palate, so you have to switch to ntc, but they're usually pretty good! i also really love the fact that you can favorite colors, so i can go through and find nice colors and save them for later!! my biggest problem is that there's only four options for your color, i wish there were a few more, and sometimes it glitches so the random color will show the same thing until you close and reopen the app
