Works great mostly
I love how this app identifies almost any song and gives me the title and artist name quickly. My only complaint is that background noise can interfere with its recognition. If the music isn’t clear, loud or close enough, it either won’t recognize it or take too long and the song ends. The human ear can filter out noises like a horn honk, people talking and other background noise. A computer should be able to do a better job. While it’s the best song identifier I’ve tried and it gives you good prompts such as aim your microphone in the direction of the song, etc. I often find aiming the mic upwards helps as does running closer to the music ASAP. Usually it finds your song and I love how it gives you a list of every song it’s ever identified for you when you open the app and all you have to do to start the identifier is press the blue mic icon on the top right corner! Test it out before you need it. Try outdoors, in a car, a club, restaurant, bar, indoors, anywhere you might be when that song you want might play. Be prepared and know how to use this app because the music you want to identity always plays at times and places when you least expect it!! 🤗’s, Scott

I love this app because it does exactly what the app says it does and with no ads. Plus can email yourself a list of songs identified.
Not Into Modern Songs
This app is so great because I don’t know the modern songs but need a good playlist for DJ-ing my son’s hockey games. I now have a great playlist!

I was trying to find this very specific version of “off to Dublin in the green” using this app but it failed me.
