What's New in Whistler Peak Live Pro
2.6.5
April 27, 2026
Welcome to Peak Live Pro — the pro edition of Peak Live. Same Whistler mountain toolkit (forecasts, webcams, lifts, grooming, temps, alerts), with ongoing personalization and reliability improvements. This update (2.6.5) • Visual improvements to the Temperatures grid and bubble chart for dark mode. • Improved period headings for the Backcountry page. In version 2.5.4: • Temperature colors — Auto – New Auto uses summer colors June 1–October 14 and winter otherwise (America/Vancouver). Auto is the default for this update; Winter and Summer remain in Settings. • Mid-mountain (snow-forecast.com) – The summary headline appears only when the feed includes a proper phrase; avoids empty or misleading one-line snippets. Recently (2.6.3) — if you skipped that release • New My Lifts on Home – Dedicated My Lifts hero (enable/order in Home Layout). Compact scrolling layout; Pill or Icon status style. Detail sheet with Customize, All Lifts, and settings under Settings → Home Tab (including My Lifts Layout). • My Lifts refresh – Refresh in the detail sheet; Home pull-to-refresh updates hero status; clearer status and wait visuals. • Lifts tab – New 2-Columns Icons layout (gauge-style status, cleaner cell layout). • Backcountry weather – Better period separation and weekday grouping in the weather forecast section. • Forecast charts – Freezing level line chart plotting improved to reduce occasional smoothing artifacts. • Webcam defaults – Snow Ruler defaults toward zoomed-first; Creekside defaults to line image (still customizable). Earlier highlights Rebranding to Peak Live Pro (formerly Whistler Live / Peak Cams), Patrol sheet, Temps card layouts, expanded Backcountry advisory content, push alert customization, My Grooming + grooming alerts, Home Layout, and weather bubble chart improvements. Thank you for using Peak Live Pro.
