Yeah Nah - but… some tips would help
Trying to fit so much in an app is not easy. It has so much it is not intuitive especially at set up. The absence of settings symbol is confusing and although partly understandable it is still tricky.
Search is somehow very limited, especially for classical music. So your job is to work out “What were they thinking?” First tip: Choose Album on the tab. Second tip: Artist or composer first > add a comma then > (get more specific) e.g. Symphony > (even more specific) Orchestra. etc. For pop it is a little easier because you don’t have endless different recordings of the same thing. (How many versions of the 4 seasons by Vivaldi are there? The answer is = Hundreds!

Tidal can easily offer up too many “compilation” albums when you search for Mozart. Huge mistake HUGE.

Regarding the search feature, are you referring to the search tab in the WiiM Home app or the search within a specific music service? If you're using the search feature in the WiiM app, searching for "Mozart" allows you to filter your results using the top categories, such as Artists, Tracks, Albums, Playlists, Stations, Podcasts, Episodes, and Shows. Similarly, if you are searching within TIDAL via the WiiM app, you can also use the top category tabs to refine your search. Habe 3 x LS von Audio Pro in der neuen Wiim Edition, die auch mit der Original Wiim App funktionieren. Diese funktioniert deutlich besser, als der Ableger von Audio Pro, der eigentlich auf der Wiim-Software basiert. Bin absolut begeistert, super App, funktioniert einwandfrei und ist unglaublich umfangreich, mir fehlt da nichts mehr. Die Lautsprecher von Audio Pro kann ich ebenfalls 100% weierempfehlen, super Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnisse und Top Klang, aber lieber mit der Wiim-App betreiben.

This is the best system I’ve ever had. I love this setup!
Originally great. Now not so good.
After two or three months of use, the Wiim app appears to be constantly playing a background stuttering effect. VERY annoying!

Performs for what it is for.
You get all the streaming platforms under one app! Performs for what it is made for. Would like to see the settings icon a bit prominent. Also would like to have favourites sharing options with other WiiM users.
Could be much better
Difficult to navigate devices and select music. Poor coordination with sirius xm

Beyond perfect streaming device!
I am not tech savvy at all. I have been searching for a way to connect my home stereo speaker system with my iPhone Pandora. This could not be more perfect! The app is the most user friendly I have encountered anywhere. This little Wiim mini is beyond perfect! Thank you Wiim for making your app easy enough for even someone elderly like myself to use!

Good App
I really like this one. It’s several music apps rolled up into one, with the added benefit of an equalizer built in. My only complaint is that it can lose wifi connection sometimes but it’s not that often.

It offers up too many compilation albums when you search for Mozart. Huge mistake HUGE. It is an insulting approach and misses the whole point of a music service.

Easy to use, logical layout with all the functionality you need.

I honestly didn’t expect the WiiM to impress me as much as it has. Setup took just a few minutes, the app is intuitive, and it integrated seamlessly with the rest of my system.
The sound quality is outstanding for the price. Streaming high-resolution music, it sounds clean, detailed, and balanced. It’s one of those products that just gets out of the way and lets you enjoy the music.
What really surprised me was how often the software gets updated. WiiM seems committed to improving the product long after you’ve bought it, which is becoming increasingly rare. New features appear regularly, and everything has remained stable and reliable.
For anyone looking to add high-quality streaming to an existing hi-fi setup without spending a fortune, I can’t recommend the WiiM highly enough. It punches well above its price point and easily competes with streamers that cost significantly more.

I was immediately blown away by the difference the WiiM made.
Room correction software does not function
It is stuck in disabled mode. Tried all workarounds suggested.

Love this app. Enables me to use my Bose Soundtouch speakers once again. Perfect!

Overall good build quality, sleek design and it disappears for the most part, which is nice. Remote is somewhat over-simplified though.
Easy to setup/use, lots of configurable features and settings to adjust according to taste and what equipment you have in the rest of your chain.
The Bluetooth streaming is somewhat unreliable with my current setup (no fault of the WiiM) so I use Ethernet hardwire with AirPlay connectivity and there are no issues streaming YouTube Music from a 15Pro iPhone to the WiiM, which has optical out to a Marantz Cinema 60 (Polk Audio RTi-A9, CSi-A6, XT-12).
A bit pricy for what it does, but much better than any Bluetooth receiver.
Some minor bugs that the developer is addressing.
Bottom line:
If you need a multi-source input for connectivity, it’s a good solution. I’m very happy with mine and would recommend it.

Music file indexing is hopeless
I have a very large library on an external drive. I am constantly having issues with playing tracks that play on other devices but the Wiim simply will not play them. They are standard format either Flac or Mp3. I can play the tracks on the Wiim home app on the desktop but when I try to play the same track using the app on my iphone 16e it skips to another track on the same album. I have tried rescanning, reinstalling, the same error keeps occuring. Even moving files in very small batches, I get the same problem. It doesnt even stay consistent with which albums it does this with, I’m sick of going around in circles trying to make this work, I’m ready to throw the stupid thing in the bin. Jellyfin has no issues with any tracks at all, even with over 30,000 tracks. Unfortunately for me though, the Wiim app on my phone will only scan a very small portion from Jellyfin so again I’m stuck. Extremely disappointed.
