Horribly High Expectations
I thought this was a great platform, and I wish I could say it is, but it’s not. The students and clients are lovely people. The admin, not so much, they are extremely demanding.
They expect you to accept demos even while sleeping, they chase away possible students, because they felt you didn’t teach right, and they blame you and drop your ratings. I’m constantly getting harassed by phone calls and texts about how I’m failing at demos. Demos are also scheduled so last minute. They will even be texting you constantly during teaching.
I’m sticking it out for the students I do have, but it’s not a recommended place to work.

Best Tutor Experience!
I’ve recently discovered the app because a friend recommended it to me. It is easy to use and I’ve been able to secure my first students within a week of using it!

I keep trying to hold out hope that I can, in fact, teach people to sing and make music… I mean, I’ve been doing it successfully outside this platform for years. But, for some reason, every lead I get connected to is SO interesting. Just finished a demo with a gramma and her 6-year-old granddaughter. Gramma assured me she had let WIINGY know it was for her 6yo granddaughter… well, in tutoring, psychological approach is very important, and nowhere at all was there any info about the client being 6 years old! Giant waste of time.

Joined the app and immediately got student demos. Students are engaged and eager to learn and the app is working well.
Wiingy Tutor/ Singing Teacher
I recently started working as a singing teacher at Wiingy, and I’m thoroughly enjoying the experience. It’s exciting to learn how to navigate the app and connect with students from all around the world for demo lessons. The students are very responsive and polite, which makes teaching even more rewarding. I truly enjoy teaching at Wiingy and look forward to booking more students eager to learn. I plan to continue teaching online, working comfortably from home while meeting students interested in various styles and genres of music.
