I’ve recently discovered the app because a friend recommended it to me. It is easy to use and I’ve been able to secure my first students within a week of using it!

I keep trying to hold out hope that I can, in fact, teach people to sing and make music… I mean, I’ve been doing it successfully outside this platform for years. But, for some reason, every lead I get connected to is SO interesting. Just finished a demo with a gramma and her 6-year-old granddaughter. Gramma assured me she had let WIINGY know it was for her 6yo granddaughter… well, in tutoring, psychological approach is very important, and nowhere at all was there any info about the client being 6 years old! Giant waste of time.

Flexible tutoring app
I’ve been a tutor for Wiingy since November 2025. The Wiingy team strives to make the app better everyday and it’s been a positive experience. I recommend the app for those who would like to tutor within a flexible schedule and the team is super patient with your requests.

The app is great,I’ve had no issue with it so far. When I first started I got lots of demos now it has become less. The wiingly staff provide so much support. Make sure you and your student access the class using the link provided or you might have issues with pay. Overall I’d say be patient with getting demos and students to enroll.

Poor processes, tech issues, poor responsiveness
I wish this were a better experience because I love the clients. The best part is the availability of leads who genuinely want to be helped.
However, the platform CONSTANTLY has technical issue. Like every other day there is something wrong. The team can be slow to respond or unresponsive all together. And when there is a response, plenty of times the issue doesn’t even get solved.
You get penalized for turning down too many leads, but they constantly double book demos or book demos at times you already have clients. You have to change availability so often because the calendar doesn’t sync to what’s already been booked through the company. To top it off, demos are always assigned last minute and sometimes they only give you a few minutes to reply.
There also is no process for late cancellations or no shows. You could schedule 30 sessions in a week and if no one shows up you don’t get compensated for your time. You don’t get a bonus or commission for selling the client, so even if you convert a lot it doesn’t mean you’re going to get paid well and that’s really frustrating.
I could go on because these are a few of many issues. It just is not enjoyable at all to work with the company, unfortunately.

Great Platform For Tutors
Wiingy is a great platform for tutors of any background to start teaching and earning. Great features and very helpful team.
No functionality
Won’t upload photos or type words or do anything useful
Not a realistic option for people who have other scheduling obligations.
The main complaint I have is that you can accept demos, but that doesn’t automatically get them- and the frustrating part that led me to delete my account is that they wait till last minute to allot demos, which means you actually get to teach them. The system with demos does not allow you to receive payment for them, so as a tutor you can easily be robbed of your time and effort. In addition, the way the app and website work for different functions feels broken and I was not given proper explanation of all that this complicates. I had to ask ChatGPT to figure out how certain things work.

Unprofessional and inadequate
As an instructor for this platform I am left in the dark multiple times with no response from my own “support group” followed by repercussions that don’t pertain to any of my actions.
I’ve attempted numerous and countless approaches to get in touch with a representative only to be met with complacency.

The app is easy to navigate and understand. It’s simple and straightforward to access and schedule sessions with student.
Very neat platform
Quite impressed with how seamless the process is. The onboarding complete with advisors every step of the way. Would definitely recommend to others in my network of educators and learners!
