Rip off

Cancelled during the free trial. They charged me $49.99 so I cancelled in Apple Subscriptions and Windy managed to charge me another $164.99 for an annual subscription. BEWARE

Unbelievable and not in the good way

This app is deceiving. I signed up for it because everything that was being presented on Facebook showed them to be a fishing app. I signed up for the app which costs approximately $50 per year and downloaded it. During setup it has you tell them all about how you fish and what you’re fishing for and makes you think that you are getting a fishing app however, as soon as you login, they hit you for another $65 per year to access the fishing portion of the app. This is not a fishing app primarily, it is a very expensive weather app with a costly fishing add-on.

You’ll be asked to pay over and over again. Seriously annoying when the set up involves 3 pages of different plans, subscriptions, and sales. Frick off with the spam please

Aggressive subscription pushing

I intend to try it for 7 days and it subscribed at $164 per year. And it default to group subscription?! Too aggressive pushing. Don’t like it.

Useless for saltwater

Fishing Pro version is completely useless because they do not incorporate an accurate tide phase in the calculation for fishing. They advised me that they use some kind of international tide phase. Which does a person no good for their local situation.

I downloaded the app paid the subscription for the fishing section and I can’t access any of it. No help from Apple or the app provider. Now I’m £18.99 out of pocket and tied into it for a year.

I went through the steps to install this, was happy to pay for premium service.

But then it presented at £99 for a year with no monthly option.

No, sorry I don’t have £99 to drop on this in one go. How many other customers walked away as there was no other monthly plan.

Yet another app that strings you along a stupid quiz before asking you for money at the end. Just say you’re a subscriber service only and stop wasting my time. Let people do your dumb customer survey after they’ve payed to be on ur app.
