Great app!

I love how the owl is so judgmental- it makes it easy to sort out what food is safe. I’ve been looking for an app like this for a while to sort out the ingredients that are challenging to decipher. It makes it easy to see these companies trying to sell me ultra processed food that is actually poison. Keep up the good work!

So far so okay

Really Ike the breakdowns of the categories and what they each mean. There are , however, two things that bother me. 1) I feel the wise score should be directly under the food rating, not all the way at the bottom. 2) I think you should be able to search food without needing to scan a barcode. If I’m looking to buy something online, I don’t have to physically barcode to scan. That means I can chance getting something that I wouldn’t have wanted depending on the score, or I just don’t get it and maybe risk something that would’ve had a good score.

Technical hiccups:

It’s not flawless. Sometimes the scan button gets finicky, or you’ll find a product that isn't in their database yet. It can be a little frustrating when you’re in a rush

This app is actually a game changer

Basically I just downloaded this app and started scanning my chips and said it was super ultra processed, I would RECOMMEND this app if you want to know what’s in your chips or whatever.

Information is power

This is exactly what we needed. Sometimes it’s so hard to understand whether the ingredients in a product are going to be good for you. I knew how to read a nutrition label, but some ingredients are complicated. Now, a simple scan shows you what level of processing the ingredients in each product have undergone. Love it.
