Wiser is impossible to cancel. At first I thought this app would be helpful. Used a few times, but I never really got what I hoped. I canceled the App two months ago and they still keep charging me. Be very careful when deciding to download this App.
Charges even after subscription ended
I cancelled my subscription and it ended on July 21st however i was still charged on July 28th and Apple will not refund

The books they give you are actually relevant to what you like and the narrator keeps you engaged in the reading.

This company will take money from you without consent, £30 a month in my case

Wiser is a wonderful app that summarizes very useful books on a wide array of topics. Bite-size learning that sticks with you and allows you to absorb and implement the key aspects of the topic.

Update: you ask me to contact your Support team. I already did four months ago, yet here we are, still getting charged for something I cancelled then.
I was double charged for my subscription when I created the account in February of 2026. I noticed the double-charge and contacted support to cancel the subscription. They reimbursed me and have continued to charge me ever since. Avoid any subscription with them at all costs.

The great thing about this app, is you have dozens of choices, and options of reading material, directly related to your interests. Books, that you would purchase. Since, I began using the Wiser app, I have not had an urge to purchase a book, I simply open the app, and begin reading.

Ao longo de quase um ano, troquei inúmeros e-mails com o suporte, segui todas as orientações fornecidas pela empresa, realizei cancelamentos adicionais quando solicitado, removi o aplicativo do celular e verifiquei repetidamente minhas assinaturas. Mesmo assim, as cobranças continuaram ocorrendo.
O problema mais grave não é apenas a cobrança em si, mas a aparente falha no controle de assinaturas e cancelamentos. Um usuário não deveria precisar passar meses tentando interromper cobranças após cancelar um período de teste gratuito.
Também considero a qualidade do conteúdo e da experiência do aplicativo bastante abaixo do esperado quando comparada a outras alternativas disponíveis no mercado.
Minha recomendação é simples: tenha muita cautela antes de instalar este aplicativo. Se você pretende apenas testar o período gratuito, esteja ciente de que minha experiência com o processo de cancelamento foi extremamente problemática e gerou um desgaste desnecessário durante muitos meses.

I bought this app through Tik Tok and now it's IMPOSSIBLE to cancel!! I've emailed and received no response. When I log on to the site it says my account is inactive yet they continue to charge me.
