LOVE THIS APP

This app is wonderful and is currently my go-to therapy app for self-reflection and releasing all bottled up worries or to just talk about joyous moments. I like being able to record and reflect on my thoughts and emotions. The app has a beautiful simplicity to it and does its job well. I do wish we can record a bit longer and also have the option to permanently turn off the option to share with the public. It always asks me if I’d like to share my thoughts with the public, which I always say no to anyway. Also, can we get a category for “Pets”?

Audio journaling, the new thing

It’s my first complete day of using Within and I already am in love with it. I love mostly just listening to other people and what they’re going through. Sometimes I wish that after listening I could leave a comment or even follow that person. Like I wish we were all anonymous and we all had randomly given names, but we could use the follow button to keep up with certain people. I see how that can become an issue, though. I still wish I could leave a comment on someone’s journal, because I’ve gotten a few life quotes from the community and I wish I could thank them.

Interesting perspective of other peoples emotions

I recently started both video journaling as well as audio journaling and I decided to download this app but I also found myself listening to other peoples emotions and their affirmations of something positive when they are feeling something negative. I find myself being somewhat satisfied listening to others for some reason, maybe it’s because I know I’m not the only one feeling a certain way and I try to keep most of my feelings to myself so that is why I am trying to do video journaling as well as audio journaling and just record of what I’m feeling in the moment, but it is an interesting viewpoint to see and hear what someone else is going through and it makes you really reflect yourself as well when you hear yourself and your emotions and your feelings and what you’re going through, I just wish the record time would be a lot longer because sometimes other people have a lot to say what they’re feeling in the moment
