I have been watching this station since before Uncle Gus was on, my children went on Uncle Gus. The station was on Elm Street then. I would never want to lose this station however.. recently I am not seeing a lot of the broadcasters on . I think station should not make as many changes .. these were good people. Maybe they did leave on their own. However WMUR does so much for the community. We definitely need you..!

This app gives me all the local news and world news plus my local weather reports. I also change cities to keep up on vacation places I will be visiting. Works great for me.
Biased
I find that WMUR has become more biased in its reporting of national news. The local news reporting is better when it comes to what is happening around the state but politically speaking it’s very one sided so as soon as that start I watch something else
Repetitive
I enjoy getting breaking news but NOT the same thing several times a day.
App Frequently Resets
WMUR is one of my daily app reviews. However, I am very often frustrated with the app frequently resetting to the top of the page requiring me to scroll through already read content to get to the next story. No other news app does this. I have done all that I can on my end to ensure it’s not “user error”. I’m asking the developer to fix this bug as I’m sure I’m not the only frustrated user.

Most stories are like- something happened but we have no details. Maybe a real journalist could do things like drive to the hospital and try to talk to family, or drive to the scene of the crime and report what is actually happening.
Headlines are atrocious. Not real news imo. I watch for the local weather.

Alerts are not always timely and are not always available on the web feed as listed news.
Not working
The news will not play it just keeps stopping randomly and stops the broadcast and you've got to watch a million ads to get back to the news you were literally just watching I don't know what happened this is as of 02/23/26 happens on both my ipad and my phone I like to listen in the morning while I shower can't please get this fixed

The app itself is adequate from a functional standpoint, except that it shows a warning banner on it for “Weather Closings/Delays” even on the nicest of days, so it kind of has “The Boy Who Cried Wolf” effect in that app users have grown desensitized to the banner. Having a “weather warning/closing” banner flashing every time one opens the WMUR app 24/7/365 is absurd!
Additionally, the “news” it presents is all liberal gaslighting opinions. Nothing is presented in a neutral, just the facts news manner that would be expected from the Live after or Die state.
Lastly, WMUR is a Hearst News Corporation affiliate. WMUR labels political opinion as factual news written by their own Hearst reporters as coming from the very official sounding “WASHINGTON NEWS BUREAU” to deceive readers into thinking that its was written by a 3rd party in Washington. They use the word “Bureau” rather than “Department” to make it sound like an outside civic or oversight organization when in fact it’s an internal department employing Hearst’s own biased reporters.
If WMUR wanted to be transparent they would simply label those political opinion pieces as being written by “Hearst’s Washington News Department” rather than the “Washington News Bureau”.
Integrity matters! WMUR = NH-MSNBC (MS NOW).

WMUR has shifted so far left I cannot watch any longer. There is never a balanced report when it comes to anything political.

Your resent update caused several issues
Traffic reports come up in Florida, your contact and bug report links do not work. Removing your app and power cycle the iPhone and iPad and reloading your app does not fix any of the problems.

I really did like this app so much. The weather forecast is so much better than the iPhone’s app, it’s actually accurate!!! Loved the radar! It has news, list of closings, so many useful features I enjoyed and I guess I took it for granted.
Sorry to say goodbye to this app, but I don’t want it sharing my data 😢👋
If you ever stop sharing our data, I’d love to know so I can install the app again. I miss it already.

Who’s pushing the “news”?
Endless push notifications throughout the day for useless garbage not even close to news. A push notification from a news app should be breaking news. Awful.
