If I could give this zero stars I would. The amount of ads is ridiculous so I decided to try the VIP pass. I got it and the next time I opened the app, I got more ads. Why bother having an ad free choice if it doesn’t work. Do not waste your time or money on this app, there are way better alternatives.

I bought the 2.99 pack to remove ads for a week and it charged me and it didn’t give me ads for 5 minutes then it started giving me ads again and it’s asking if I want to buy it again this is a terrible game all it does is scam you
If I could give it 0 stars I would
What is the point of having the board if the board makes no sense? When the word settles on the board, its letters settled randomly on the board making it impossible to figure out what even is the word you’re missing when you’re left with couple empty tiles. It does not make sense. What is the point. Deleting it.

Too many ads on here and yes I do understand why you put ads on here but just after one level I get ads and it’s honestly annoying maybe if you make it where it’s after every third level there is a ad but the way it is now this is a okay of a game
Don’t pay for anything
I paid $3 for a week free of ads, the subscription went through but I still had ads and kept getting a pop-up to pay for the ad-free experience. Emailed them twice and never heard back. Been over a week. When you click on app support, it takes you to a page in another language.

Don't pay for VIP subscription
The game itself is fun. It was fun enough that I paid for a VIP subscription because the ads are less fun. I played for 20-30 minutes without ads then went to bed. The next time I opened the app to play, the ads are back. A quick Google told me that this is a common experience.

Great fun game but I purchased a monthly 6.99 VIP subscription and it’s still active but once I closed the app they want me to buy it again??! The main reason I purchased this was for NO ADS! And now there’s ads after almost every level! Very disappointed.

Word City could be a relaxing, enjoyable puzzle game, but the ad frequency ruins the experience. Getting an ad after almost every 10‑second level is ridiculous. The gameplay is fast, but the interruptions are even faster, making it feel more like an ad app with a game attached.
