I really look forward to seeing what the Word of the day is and how the app will present it. I appreciate learning new words through various games and the option of having the app pronounce it for me.
Glitchy
Widget not showing the same word as app. Click into app, it’s a different word. Now I can’t learn the word in my widget.. why is it showing August 4th word of the day if it’s August 12 today. I’d like to learn a new word
False advertising
App advertised one new word everyday in widgets. Instead it forces you to visit the app to find new words.
Constant adds
I deleted this app because I had to watch an add or pay to get the word of the day. I just wanted to learn a new word every day if I missed a day ya ok I got to watch an add to get that one sure no problem but if I missed the word by an hour or two and I got to watch a damn video that is just about the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard.

Good words. Lots of ads.
In terms of words, this is the best Word of the Day app I’ve found. I really like their quiz to determine your vocabulary level, and have learned a lot. That being said, the amount of ads you get bombarded with is super irritating. You have to watch a 1-2 minute long ad to even get the new word some days because they claim you “missed it”… even though you open it first thing in the morning (it would be one thing to get an ad if you forgot to open the word until 10pm that evening. It’s another when you open it at 6am. I didn’t “miss it”. You’re just making me watching another freaking ad). If you scroll back to the word from the day before - ads. They’re just everywhere all the time and they’re LONG and unskippable. I don’t have the money to pay the premium subscription that every app on the face of the earth now harasses you to get. Can’t I please just learn a new word a day without the crazy amount of ads GOD I am SO TIRED OF ALL THE ADS. Update: they are now making me watch an ad every single morning before getting the word. No matter how early I open it (12:01 AM), I’m told I “missed it” and have to watch an ad to see it. This is getting ridiculous and is totally dishonest — again: I DIDN’T MISS ANYTHING. YOU ARE JUST MAKING ME WATCH YET ANOTHER MILLION-YEAR LONG UNSKIPPABLE AD. I think I’m officially done.

I had a good streak!!!! I go to catch my next word and my streaks gone. Back to one😡 can the streaks take more time than zeroing us back down to 1.
I’m hoping it can be salvaged. I’m near level 3!
I think I’m going to remove the game. I gained very good streaks on this app. Once again my streak is down to one. It’s fair to say that not everything can be afforded with money. I believe the point system should be free and come without mishaps so to speak. I didn’t use it for one day and I lose it all my points.. I have made several complaints. Back to totality of my street points. So I thank you for this being a good game, but it’s done..

Even before you start, 3 minutes ad!!! Super expensive if you want the premium! Every word 2 minutes ad it’s crazy

It is really awesome that you can begin using this app for free to see what all is available before you have to subscribe to it. I think that is very good business. And I’m looking forward to the adventure of vocabulary expansion!
Paywalled the word after 11 am
VERY aggressive upselling— I used it for a week and today I was told I missed today’s word and could unlock it with an ad. Stay FAR away from this one
Love the premise
Less ads. Everything is great. Waiting for ads is ridiculous. I am tempted to look for a different app, but like the content of this one.
