Almost - UPDATED

I originally gave this game 3 stars because a number of the puzzles were unsolvable, including words in the list that were not on the board. But I have found that if you restart those puzzles, you can get a solvable version. It may take more than one restart. I believe it still needs fixing, or at least including that bug in the instructions.

It’s good, but I just can’t give 5 stars because of the unsolvable puzzles. There is not a huge number of them, but just enough to make it frustrating for those of us who do not enjoy leaving un-finished games. Word search puzzles with words in the list that do not exist in the letters…fix that and I may add those remaining two stars.

Fab game w/ lagniappe

It was absolutely great to have found a word search that I can play casually by turning the timer off. The bonus for me was having the ability to change the font size and/or color. The sheer number of them is staggering and it’s refreshing to see the developer stays on top of the app. The ability to create our own cross words was lagniappe, also. I’m not sure if there’s a method to save the creation but it is fun.
The only minus is that the games freeze as I’ve had to play a few games several times to have them show as complete. With that being the only caveat, this game is my addiction and a calming distraction.

Also, a quick tip for the Game Editor: your words are saved automatically as you create, so you never have to worry about losing your progress! Have fun!

Fun with the occasional bug

I play this game often and enjoy it. Sometimes there’s a space in the grid and there’s no way to complete that particular game. I just skip that one and go on to the next. And sometimes a search word is too long to be displayed. You can figure out what the word is supposed to be (as long as it’s spelled correctly) but in a game based on pattern matching, not being able to see the full pattern is a disadvantage. Other than that, I really like this app and appreciate the customizable interface!

Been using for a while in offline, must say it is addictive you can easily think you will play for ten minuets, that soon turns into an hour.

Good game for mindless play

Works well, but needs a arrow button for the online games to take one to the first puzzle not completed. Currently one jumps out by tens and then has to jump by one screen at a time to find the last puzzle completed.

With newer iPads that don’t have a home button, to get out of the app one must slide your finger up from the bottom of the screen. This instantly changes background, size, color, etc. which is annoying after getting everything set the way you want it to appear. Each time enter the game requires resetting these settings.
